The responses to a mod were childish, rude, and unjustified. If I had done something like that because I was having a bad reaction to prescription medication, a stroke, or even a Vietnam/LSD flashback, I would be thanking my lucky stars that my Ironworks password still works. If I'd done it on purpose, without an excuse, I'd expect to see unregistered beside my name. ;)

There are other forums that specialize in those kinds of threads and allow such treatment of members and moderators without consequence, and that's where these belonged. These de-regulated communities are easy to find with a simple Google search for "forums that suck". ;) :D

I think the Mod Squad does a fine job of keeping this a fun place to hang out, and I appreciate that they don't tolerate that type abuse towards mods or members. Keep up the good work guys and gals! [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img]

Great post Memsy, I for one try to treat all members as equals and Moderators as well, moderators, they are to be hearkened to above all else (except Choc and Z of course) in all matters they choose to participate in, this isn't to say I haven't had some fun at their expense (mostly just in the RP forum, lol Keldorn's Order declaring war on Larry for example) but always within the limits I knew were acceptable.

{edit} when I said except Z and Choc, I meant that they are higher in my opinion than most Moderators, If only because it is, as said in the Rules and Regulations, Ziroc's house, and Choc is Choc after all

I too saw those threads. Utterly useless no doubt (except for rank spamming, which in itself is useless as nobody thinks anyone is more important because they have a higher post count). :rolleyes: And to blatantly ignore and insult a Moderator was quite shocking to me. What a great show of disrespect for Ironworks in general :(

Humm... it seem some of you didn't get the message quite right.

It is not important if you like a moderator or not. You MUST respect him. Even if you disagree with him.

If you feel that a moderator was unjust to you, then email Ziroc. But you need to obey every moderators.

You must respect ALL moderators, even if you think some are mean to you.

We don't want to hear anyone else saying things like "I only respect a moderator that..."
