How'd you talk her into to all those machines? Are you in the business? And most importantly, can I have one of the extras

lol... I'm a Project Engineer, but I still get to do a fair amount of technical work (which is what I enjoy), my primary focus is providing computing solutions for plant floor applications... that's system architecture, hardware, software, Databases, OLAP, all the way to ERP connectivity, I can do it all. The Vision Workstation I just got is for an Online inspection project, right now I'm installing a ton of software and hardware in the box, and I've been benchmarking it to see what we can expect performance wise (Benchmarking includes Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Neverwinter Nights, etc... :D ). The coolest thing I've seen in a while was that box running RTCW at 1600x1200x32 with every quality slider set to MAX, and still churning out 100fps... and while that's impressive, the thing that made it truly cool was that I had Microsoft Visual Studio .NET installing in the background AT THE SAME TIME. No jerking, framerate drop or anything... it just kept chugging along.

All the other boxes I've had around for a while, I set up the network as a learning tool. (MS Server software can be a PITA ) My wife just rolls her eyes when another system gets delivered, but she did give me a large space to set up an office in the house (I was relegated to the basement before then), guess I'm pretty lucky on that count. In reality she's a lot more accomidating of my computer hobby than she is my sports car obsession... but we won't go there ;)

No you can't have one... they're MINE, ALL MINE, (insert maniacal laughter here). I'm a pack rat when it comes to the things... I've still got my Zenith z200 286 from COLLEGE (just a few years back lol)

Uh, I have no idea how you could access the net with MS-DOS 3.x...nevermind, I do not want to waste my brain cells trying to figure it out either.
