<font face="Verdana" size="3" color="#00FF00">Another 1st for Calgary in 15 years. The win last night not only gave the Flames first blood in the best-of-seven Western Conference semifinal series, it's the first time they've won an opener since the 1989 Stanley Cup final of 1989.

The Detroit is going down, and you guys thought I was joking when I said Calgary will win the cup. :D

On another note pubs and sports bars in the area have been doing really well since Calgary made the playoffs this year. Beer sales are up!!! :D

This series should be a good one. They're seriously, IDENTICAL on paper. The one superstar on each team (Iginla, Marleau), the hot, underrated goalie, the underrated defense core, the speed, the hard-working. This should be great. And nothing pleases me more than having Hatcher watch the WCF on TV. :D

Has any team left won the Stanley Cup more than once? The only one that might've is Philly...
