I met people from Christchurch when I was on my first four month exchange in Moscow!!! We sat about discussing our language differences and the news we got that the Pope had been shot. NICE group of people with great senses of humor. I ended up corresponding for a while with a friend of theirs (teehee, a setup, but he ended up marrying a nurse from the area. LOL).
