There's plenty of free sites that don't have terms of service. I see you've already found another one. I think that Webspace is worth paying for if you intend to really use it, though I can't really understand some of the terms of service for the companies. Seems silly.

Actually, I would suggest that the behavior stems from the Cognition theories of "Primacy and Recency"...you tend to remember the first and last things you hear, and forget that which is in the middle. Consequently, when someone mentions "Spam", since that's the latest thing on your mind, off you go and start doing it!

Advertisers have been milking this theory for years. I'd think it would probably work here.
