Can somebody remind me where Soul Reaver is? I must have find it, but propably sold it and didn't give it any attention, since all my fighters are good.

BTW, does anybody use "The Wave"? Is it worth the proficiencies in Halberds? I say no, but I never used it.

Bows ans crossbows are not affected by adding stars to Two-handed weapons, the bonuses only apply to mellee. I don't know about The Wave, it IS a +4 weapon, so it can be used against YOU KNOW WHO. But by the time you get it, you can have lots of other +4 weapons.....

The Heartseeker+3 is a long bow, not a two-handed sword.
As for the best two-handed sword, I'd go with Carsomyr, although only paladins can wield it.

In some posts people talk about a Holy Avenger. Is this Carsomyr and if not what chapter can you grab it in?

To answer your question no the wave is not worth it. 15% chance of 15 extra damage. Kills fire elementals salamandars on first hit. Wohoo... The dragons breath is better. To get the Holy Avenger you have to kill Firkragg. He's a Red Dragon and very very tough. Only paladins can use it.

Which weapon is best? Depends on your character- if you run a Paladin, I think Carsomyr is the obvious choice. With my NE KEnsai/Mage, I alternate between the vorpal and the Soul Reaver...
