There *were* a couple of weak spots. But I don't wanna write any spoilers. Has to do with the moon and a certain character who happened to step in it a couple of times...

Haven't seen a movie as entertaining as this for a long, long time. Beats Lord of the Rings in the humour stakes, beats Shrek on action... it's pure fun! Johnny Depp made this movie. I've never said that before.

Whenever I hear Capt. Sparrow I think back and remember Saemon Havarian of BG2 fame. It's the same accent, I swear!

Also... what dead spots, Cal? If it's the character I'm thinking of, there's no dead spots, to be sure...

Great movie! Funniest movie I've seen in a while. Johnny Depp was great! Great acting, great plot, great humour. Overall I'd give it a 10/10 for sure.

Went to see it Labor Day. It was fantastic! Great writing, directing, acting, and use of effects. What more can I say?

It reminded me of "The Princess Bride" - I can give it no higher praise

I've never seen "The Princess Bride," Mouse. I take it that maybe I should see it.

Why did they need the blood of Bill (the guy's father) for the curse to be lifted? Why him?

I think becuase of the blood. If they get the blood they are not cursed anymore. Altough it`s been a long time so memory is fuzzy...

Yea, I know they need blood, but I'd like to know why they need his blood. Why not anybody's blood? What's so special about him?
