Willow! What a pleasure to see you back again! I trust things are well on the home front... and the "office" as well

I'm really looking forward to DL. I've been playing through Arx Fatalis, and I've got one character to a spot where I think he will die (just encountered the Ylsides, and he's mediocre), and I'm building up another mage ('cause I got tired of the other one dying). I need more gaming... :D

I noticed in the rpgdot.com interview with DWB from late october, that he says he's still tweaking the interface - such as how the spell-casting interface will look and function. That doesn't sound like they're that close to nominating a release candidate to Dreamcatcher. But who knows when the interview actually took place.

On another note - I noticed in the trailer video that a weapons shop in the game is called "Arms of Argus." That name has come up often in DWB games: in W&W as a trait and, I believe, it was the name of the armour shop in New City in Wiz 7, no? There's also a reference in the dialogue in the trailer to the Curio Shop," also from Wiz 7. In that same dialogue, if you pause the clip, you can see a litte puzzle clue revealed - a secret password to get in somewhere!

I must really be anxious if I'm scrutinizing the trailer this closely - or bored out of my gourd...

Hum... what ever happened to just patching the game at regular intervals to improve aspects of the game?.... Diablo II does that and it has kept people playing the game a lot longer because of the new features that are added every patch..... just a random thought....

Here is I believe a new trailer for the game

http://www.3dgamers.com/dlselect/gam..._divx.zip.html

1:30 mins and 32 mb

Shows an ogre play character which looks cool.

Shows the spells firing off, and then moving to dodge them. Sort of related to wizards and warriors in that way, real time.

I'd rather have it out right than out fast... but I won't argue with out fast

Yeah. Bug-free is the way to be! But I like So So's point about patching at intervals - although you do need a decent starting product!

("So So" - any reation to Jimmy Page?)
