The pixie native ability is the Dodging trait.

When one calls the Dijiin, they are given a list from which to choose. Arm of Argus, Great Power, etc.. Close to the bottom of the list, I recall Guardian Ward. I know I had that trait, and I'm thinking that's where I got it from.

Ye must remember that Felix completed the game three consecutive times, and had lots of stuff, traits, and abilities. Some of the artifacts can be invoked, along with some weapons.

I have not played in eons, and have upgraded to WinXP. Maybe one day I will read through the WinXP technical stuff and attempt to play it again. But I'm currently running amuck in Morrowind, and preparing for whatever orders the real world may bring me.

Keep Searching

There are so many possibilities in this game - it is really rather wonderful, although in this particular context it can, of course, be rather frustrating. I am going through the game for the fourth time now, (although this is only the second consecutive round), and there are many new things to say to all non-player characters since one has picked up a number of new words to say after having met the persons in the first play-through. Also there might be many new ways to interact with these persons. I just reminded Kol the Heretic to go and consult with the Oracles of Ishad N'ha and that he said he would. Later I will go and see them myself. Not that I suspect that would give me anything of relevance to this quest for traits, but it shows there is a load of opportunities out there. Leaving the Naga untouched and thus gaining the snakeskin trait is just an example of the fact that there are a number of unexpected ways to gain new traits. That is why I am going for all the far-fetched ideas right now.
I will keep you posted.

No I believe Felix is right. You can get an amulet from the genie. I never tried to invoke it though so I have no idea if it will give you a trait. I believe you will have to choose protection from the list. Or is that to get armor... Someone will have to try it. First of all: Nice to have you with us on this quest, Chi Master - every bit of help is much appreciated.

Secondly: I got the ward from the Djinni but I was unable to invoke it with any of my characters. (Human valkyrie, dwarf barbarian, human ninja, elf warlock, human zenmaster, and human bard).

Thirdly: I got a really far-fetched idea of taking things literally. As you probably know the poker iron from the snake temple can be used to torture H'Thark into disclosing how to do the summoning. I did not think it would yield me anything, but I thought I would try using it on my party members to see if anything would come of it. (After all one of the missing traits is called "Firebrand"). And I was right: It gave absolutely nothing... But at least it has been tried.

What I like to know is, did you get any secret information while torturing yourself? ;) :D

I have had the Spellfire trait. I believe I got it along with either the Oath of Swords or Oath of Scrolls. At least I remember doing 1/2 Swords with my first party and 1/2 Scrolls (since they are mutually exclusive). It was shortly after that I was able to choose Spellfire.
