This is why it has been mentioned that there are only two in the game. You most probably mixed them up with Protection from Magical Energy or Protection from Magic Weapons scrolls.

The only requirement to use green scrolls is 9 INT, IIRC.

Ohh, i see them now. I always ignored the green scrolls thinking that they were simply Protection from Acid, from Fire... scrolls and i never saw the PfMagic scrolls or the PfUndead scrolls. So these PfM scrolls protect you from imprisonment?

buy also the helm of vilator, usable by any class that can wear helmets...

this allows you to cast simulacrum...now put a green protection from magic scroll in your pc quickslot, then use the helm...the simmy has a protection from magic scroll in its quickslot, now you can have your simmy cast protection from magic on YOU...kill the simmy, and you still have the original in your inventory...

evil naughty protection from magic scrolls cheese is to cast the scroll on kangaxx itself, since it protects the target from all magic, including its own ability to cast spells, its basically been rendered defenseless and toothless..

Since Prot from Magic does not prevent you from using special abilities, I'm wondering if you've tested that using the scroll on Kangaxx actually prevents him from using Trap the soul?

Sounds risky, Rataxes... To do that you need to get close enough to Kangaxx to read the scroll... which would mean the user better be protected from imprisonment with some other means. And then there's the demilich howl... Much safer to use it on a party member and move the others away.

Hmmm, perhaps it's just easier to make an item that protects you from imprisonment.

You're right; I'm still wondering why such an item does not exist... Know what would be just fabulous? An item that protects from Maze and Charm... There are few things more annoying than getting nailed by a Charm Person or a similar low-level spell and having your solo game end because of it. Same goes for Maze. It would be so easy to make... and considering the rings available in the game, it could hardly be considered overpowered.
