Hmmm, how long has this MOD been in development? I remember you mentioning it a while ago.

Pyrenk 08-27-2003 10:59 PM

Oh, it's your mod? Worth the wait, then

In short, every weapon type has an Uber-weapon available in either SoA or ToB. Its just that Karsomi is obtained in a rather glorious way and looks the most impressive ;)

Except for the ninja-to and wakizashi in the unmodded game. Those really were just kind of left out completely by the game designers.

I forget what it's called, I think it started with an 'N'. Wasn't that a ninja-to, or something of the sort? Might have been a katana...

Namarra is a +2 Long Sword. The only magic Ninja-To I found was in the Planar Sphere and it was a pretty crappy sword.

Pyrenk 08-28-2003 01:20 PM

Actually, there are two very good ones, and a decent one: http://www.flatface.net/~itemsmart/M...tems/Ninja-To/

Lord Lothar 08-28-2003 06:08 PM

Well that brings up the total number of good ninja-to's in plain SOA to...1. And you have to buy it...and it can only be used by Monks. Not very good for any other class that put their points into Ninja-tos. Besides, Scimitars in both SOA and TOB are a lot better than Wakizashis and Ninja-Tos so I wonder why they included the other 2 swords.
