If they are willing to do Paypal, then what happens is that they buy stuff (probably to a non-confirmed address), then they the owner, state it wasn't them ordering, and paypal takes back your money (highly unlikely this is what they are doing). Most Nigerian scams will come up with an excuse as to why they can't do western union (safest way) or Paypal, and want to send you a third party bogus "certified" check (or fake money order), which is usually for a higher amount, then ask you to western onion the difference back to them and ship the item. Your bank advances you the money, and in 7-21 days, when the bank finds out the check/money order is bogus, they take the money from your account, and you lost the money you wired to them, and your item. All these Nigerian scams are a form of advanced fee fraud, and with the bogus checks/money orders they are just more complex, because it looks like you actually received your money, but you did not.
