OCC: Sorry...there seems to be a common thread of miscommunication in this game, but I just run with it, so long as it isn't something that disrupts the game! LOL. You all have been roleplaying pretty well, lately. I'm kind of proud of the strife amongst you, as it shows that your characters have emotions of their own ;) Now back to the game.

<font color=yellow>The Cloud Car sets down and powers down in the tunnel, much to everyone's relief. The canopy opens to reveal a twin-seat, occupied by two humans. One, clothed in the robes of a Jedi and sporting the Padawan rattail ( :D ) seems to be quite young, while the General is a wizened old, sunken eyed pale man.

<font size=1>This is pretty much how he looks.</font>

They both get out of the Cloud Car, seeming to hold no weapons, and walk toward the group assembled to greet them. The General is the first to speak.</font>

<font color=white>"Well, it seems I was wrong about you all. You weren't out to kill me after all. You're much too disorganized to accomplish that, anyway. Well, I'm not much for small talk, so I'll cut right to the chase. I'm General Rey Larsek, and I am in hiding because I'm way over my head in some kind of mess that could potentially rip the Republic apart. Do you all have a reason for tormenting me that equals the magnitude of my reason for hiding? Hmm? You'd better. I want answers now...and don't try any funny business. The Jedi Temple assigned Rain here to guard me in case anyone like you all got any funny ideas."</font>

Terassk salutes the General, then notices the two rocket launchers laying at his feet, he snickers slightly and carries them inside.

Eceil unloads Bakilas on a bed in the med room then shouts at one of the guards to help him out before rushing back down stairs. With his rifle drawn he creeps back out of the service chute into the access tunnel, only to see that the situation has cooled down…to some degree. With a quick glare he takes note of the Generals bodyguard, a young Jedi probably five minutes out of padawan training. Lowering his rifle he moves over to the others and silently waits for someone else to answer the General.

Keal 05-11-2005 09:09 PM

<font color=red>"This guy isn't so 'organized' himself. His bodyguard is more of a kid than a Jedi. Then again I'm not that much different myself." Keal thinks to himself as he just stands still, still ready to draw his light saber at any givin time, you never know what could happen.</font>

Ilander 05-11-2005 11:07 PM

<font color=yellow>Keal should note that he has actually seen Rain before---he doesn't know him, but had seen him around at the Jedi Academy before. Rain is a year behind Keal in the training.

The General requests they all go to a safe place and talk, without the possibility of killing one another. The group, then, puts away all of the armaments they got out ;) , and heads off to the conference room, with Rain slowly guiding the cloud car into the hangar.

When the entire group is gathered into the conference room (Bakilas included---he's on the road to healing, and with a days rest in the bacta tank, can expect to be back up to 100%), the General starts his explanation.</font>
<font color=white>
"I'm not much good at subtlety, so again, you all will just have to bear with me. I've been investigating the incident at Ferraldy Tower for the past few months, but a few weeks ago, finally stumbled upon a lead. Some group called "Trillian Independence," so named after the inhabitants of Yarlooine, the Trill's, seems to be trying to make a thorough impression on the Republic. This is mostly because their homeworld doesn't matter a bit in the grand scheme of things. However, they obviously don't think so.

"What worries me, though, is that they have military training, something they could not have gotten on their homeworld---until last year, Yarlooine was a planet of peace. Then, a civil war broke out that seemed a bit unlikely, if you catch my drift.

"There's more, though. On Coruscant, someone, or a group of someone's have been keeping the information on the Trill's off the open channels. The terrorist cells are being anihilated, and it's not at the hands of the Republic. Not that I sympathize with the Trills---they are murders. I just think that someone else needs to take some of the heat for their actions, since they don't act alone. Some larger powers are at work here, though for the life of me, I can't figure it out.

"They're after me, though. That much is certain. I've had three assassination attempts, and barely survived them to tell you about this. Makes me think someone high up in the Republic sanctioned all of this, and is using us all like pawns.

"So, I have a request of you all. If you're going to insist on investigating ME, then could you help out with my investigation into the Trills and all the acts of terrorism they've committed onplanet?"</font>

OOC: Soon, you'll all be supplied with data. In game, it will be in the form of a datapad disk, but out of game, you'll be able to find it in the Discussion thread.

TheGrandSlayer 05-12-2005 04:03 PM

Terassk nods, "It sounds like a good deal to me, what do the rest of you guys say?"

Dron_Cah 05-12-2005 05:11 PM

<font color= lightgreen>Well, sir, to be perfectly honest with you, I've been operating on the basis that you were possibly responsible for the problems as of late. What with the disturbances, your absence, and responsibilities all coinciding so nicely. I don't suppose you could reassure us in some way that you are not responsible, could you? Also, what are your ties to Fey'lya and Rooga? I hope you will forgive me if I don't offer my help before these questions are answered.</font>
