Dear Sir.

As I mentioned before, I will be hunting only those kobalds who either attack first without provocation, or are truly evil. Those that do or are not, will simply walk away unscathed. In my eyes, this is hardly barbaric.

As a side note, there is very little profit to be made by kobalds.
It's hard for them to steal when you can smell them blocks away.

Hey, whats better, hired labor or stinky kobolds who will work for free to stay alive?

Oh, and on the languages, kobolds yip, growl and, at least in some cases, speak common and/or draconic. Proof that they can learn if they put their minds to it, but you'd wonder who taught them?

yes, but maybe instead of trying to teach the Kobolds Draconic or common, we could learn kobold, afterall, some people know goblin so why not kobold?

true, but they would have developed these attitudes had humans not impeded upon their lands, provoking attacks on both sides numerous times.
