Has anyone heard from Micah Foehammer recently? I heard he had moved from New Orleans, but since Katrina I've been wondering where he is and if he's okay.

Thanks Johnny, I went to the link but it seems to be under construction at the moment. I'll try again another day.
Sir G - Very nice pics my favorite was pyramid lake. |
Hey all, been awhile since I last posted. Been busy and all. But for the most part my life is pretty much exactly like the last time I was here. Still the same job, still single (wishing it would change, but paralyzed by the fear of that change, sad but true) *shrugs*
I know this girl, she's nice, but recently seems to be distancing herself from me. No, distancing is too nice a way of putting it. It's more like she's been flat out ignoring me. Wednesday I open a door for her to let her in and I say hi, she walks right by. Later I play a little joke and put a fake spider on her shoulder from behind (yes, there is still a big juvenile trickster in me, I was tired of being ignored and just wanted some kind of response). She just kinda looks over on to her shoulder grabs the spider and chucks it at me and turns back around, not looking angry. If anything I'd say I saw a little half smile. But then that could be my hopeful imagination tricking me. |

I'm doing well Cloudy, I'm having a heck of a time trying to get my sig image to work. Do we still have to put [IMG][/IMG] around the addy?
It's working at another site but not here. Thanks gentlemen I'll go try that now and see if it helps. Okay I went to think registered, uploaded my sig, and copy and pasted. But, did it work? [ 09-18-2005, 11:59 PM: Message edited by: canadianvixen ] |
Try hosting your image at imageshack.us... MSN doesn't usually allow linking of images.
|
Yeah you do put those Tags ,however the URL in your signature is not resolving to any image file. Thats why its not showing up.
I usually upload my image pics to Imageshack.us makes it nice and easy with out the long url's that MSN give us. [ 09-18-2005, 11:48 PM: Message edited by: T-D-C ] |
Yep, but in yours you haven't got the file extention on the end.
As in, you nee to put in a ".jpg" at the end if it is a jpeg ;) |
Thanks Hivetyrant,T-D-C, and as always my knight in shining armor Sir G. [img]smile.gif[/img] You guys are awesome.

No problem! [img]smile.gif[/img] T-D-C: looks like your sig could use a little help too. [img]tongue.gif[/img] |
Yeah I was just in the middle of changing it and forgot to close in my Img tag.
That will teach me for giving advice! LOL |
Heheh...
Ah, I feel so miserable... hope I can convince my mom to let me stay home from school tomorrow. ;) Stayed home from work today, too. |
There is an aweful head cold going around the city. Half my staff have been off in the past two weeks. Lucky for me I haven't been infected. I don't have time to be sick. lol
|
You're not in Edmonton, are you CV?

ROFL yeah right Hive. Whats a boy from Orange doing going for St George ?
I will tell you this I went out and bought 16 Grand final tickets today and Im going to send them to Trent Barrett. Its the only way he and the rest of the team is going to see the Grand final live! |
Hey guys...I'm not well today :(
Woke up at 5am with a terrible headache, and I couldn't go downstairs to get headache tablets without waking everyone, so I just lay there...for two hours! It neared 7am (the time everyone usually gets up) and I was (finally) sick. As expected my headache went when I was sick, but it was still there bit. So I got some tablets, and went to bed for the next four hours :D I was wondering if anyone get's a kind of pressure rash on their face when they vomit? It's not dangerous, but when I'm sick I get a pinky rash all over my face and neck. My parents don't know anyone else who gets this, so I was wondering if any of you out there get it. I think it's an anti-fake-to-stay-off-school trick ;) |
I'm staying home from school too. (Jumps for joy) Only downer is that I'll miss 2 tests that I'll have to make up for. :(
|
I just found out I might be able to stay off tomorrow. This pressure rash thing is alright, I feel totally fine, but I don't have to go to school if I look ridiculous! :D
|
Lol, lucky dog. [img]tongue.gif[/img] I kinda wish I can stay home from school tomorrow too, leaving me a two day school week. :D
|
Three day for me :( But I'm going to the opticians Friday afternoon so it's really 2.5 :D
*sigh* I don't want to get glasses - I need them, I know that, but I don't want them, I'll look ridiculous. I've asked for contact lenses with a "We'll see" reply from the mother, which means no :( |
Just keep begging, and if that doesn't work, throw a temper tantrum. That'll get her movin'. ;)
|
I have an aunt who is blind in one eye from getting some disease from her contacts. Don't mean to scare you or anything. I'm guessing you're in your mid teens, about how old i was when I got glasses. If you're anything like me your eyes will get progressively worse over the next couple of years. Thats something the opticians don't tell you cos they want you to buy coated lenses, which will have to be chucked in 6 months. Everyone looks rediculous in glasses for a couple of months, but after that you'll begin to look a bit odd without them. People don't even regognise me with just two eyes now...

Yup, I'm 16 in November. The bad eyesight just came on, I can't remember having trouble reading the board in Year 9, but Year 10 and Year 11 (I'm in Year 11 now) some lessons, mostly Science where good handwriting isn't something the teachers know, I can't read it.
I won't look right with glasses though, and I'll be getting Daily contacts if anything (so less chance of getting an infection - from the container thing to my eye to the bin...right?) Perhaps when I can drive I'll wear glasses, but if I got glasses only and no contacts I wouldn't wear them at school - no way, but that's teenagers for you! ;) |
I'm fine with glasses... but then again, I have been wearing them since I was in Gr. 3.
|
I got my galsses in the summer holidays between high school and sixth forrm. New classes, registration etc... A lot of people never knew me without the specs. Thats the easiest way i guess. I realised I needed them when a specy friend could read the board better than me without his glasses than i could with his glasses!
Daily contacts carry no infection risk, but they're not cheap... [ 09-19-2005, 05:19 PM: Message edited by: Melcheor ] |
I've worn glasses for over thirty years, and contacts for almost 20. Any eye problems that I've had from my contacts have generally been tracked back to me and my hygiene habits -- you really *do* want to wash your hands before working with your contacts, folks.
I never had any serious problems, but in my 20s I started using my daily-wear contacts like extended-wear ones. I'd sleep in 'em for up to a week at a time. Turns out this is bad because your corneas get oxygen-starved and your eyeballs will build new blood vessels to get more oxygen. When I decided to take care of my eyes again, I had to go for a week or two of wearing contacts properly before I could even have an exam. I've taken care of them properly ever since. No problems of any note that were caused by the contacts. |
Hey all, how is everyone tonight? I'm just back from the Dragonforce gig (anyone heard of 'em?) It was amazing, great pit, but only thing is I'm almost completely deaf right now! So stoked though, was brilliant!

Anywhere from 5 - 7 days. It's a doozey. I'm doing the cold FX thing to try and thwart it.
Hope you feel better soon Sir G. |
5-7?! UGH! I hope that I do my usual fight-off-cold-in-24to36-hours thing. [img]tongue.gif[/img] I had been feeling sick since Saturday though, so maybe I only got real symptoms near the end.
Edit- The least I can ask for is my voice to stay normal. When I woke up today, and went to ask my mom if I could stay home from school, my voice came out all crackly and more or less 2 octaves lower. [img]tongue.gif[/img] I wasn't at all amused by it... I sounded like an idiot. ;) [ 09-19-2005, 09:52 PM: Message edited by: Sir Goulum ] |
Well the upside is that no one was around to hear it but your Mom, and Mom's love you crackly voices, stuffy noses and all.
|
Yep, I bet it's every mom's dream that they can have a kid with a nasty cold 365 days a year. ;)
