Ilander, what version of CS do you run with. I've had much fun with that game except when in coop mode my team mate shoots meh!! Team mates like that you dont need enemies. LB you need to make friends with someone who has a cable/dsl line that can DL that for you!!

You should be able to adjust the scanner settings and make it more sensitive. I used to do this during the prescan with my old scanner.

Xen 08-31-2004 04:40 PM

Good evning. I just ate some Jaffa cookies and I am watching the news. Nighty.

I'm running "Condition Zero"

OH, and to Ross and Jen...I know what you both mean...no time for sleep on sooooo many fronts...I think I get about 4 on weeknights and 7 on weekends right now...

And I'm fully awake by the time noon rolls around...which makes those 8 oclock classes rough for this ex morning person...

I don't like to double post, but I wanted to drop in and say YAY, I FINISHED MY CALCULUS-BASED CLASSICAL MECHANICS HOMEWORK IN UNDER 3 HOURS!!!

Hi everybody, Attalus, if you look in the SIG request thread, you can see some of my scanned pics, they were scanned at a quality setting of 600dpi (???) I think thats all I changed, there are a few noticable marks but they are probably my doing.
How is everyone? Well Im fine, trying to convince myself to start doing some more study, anyway, im off to bed soon, so Ill see you all tomorrow.

Cloudbringer 09-01-2004 08:39 AM

Sleep...I got some last night, whoohoo! Almost forgot what that was like...boy, I could get used to getting enough sleep. But then it's hard to do, with all the things we have going on in life...well, I don't have near as much as our Lady Blue and you students do, but I still find myself falling into bed later than I'd like.

Anway, HI! Got five free minutes so I'm checking in. Hey, SomeGuy's falling down on the job...I think the stock room needs sweeping! :D

Elif Godson 09-01-2004 10:10 AM

About 5 more years before I can hopefully get a good nights sleep, and then it will be marginal because my oldest will be 15!!! I run on around 4 hours, have been this way for around 8 years now and it is starting to take it's toll on me.

Thanks, HT. I will try that. Good morning, all.

Xen 09-01-2004 10:48 AM

Hi all. I am back from my first day of school. Gotta eat something now. See ya.

Ilander 09-01-2004 11:12 AM

Thanks for the by-the-half-hour update Xen.

I'm sitting here looking at the forum, just like I was half an hour ago. I checked my email half an hour ago...I wonder if I should check it again?

Anyway, aside from teasing Xen (I'm j/k, btw) I actually managed SIX hours of sleep last night, AND finished my Classical Mechanics homework, BEFORE 1 AM.

I love physics...but not enough to get 2 hours of sleep every day of the week...

Lady Blue03 09-01-2004 12:35 PM

Hum, I've actually gotten 5 this last night. One fortunate thing about my schedule is my first class starts at 12:30 so I don't have to wake up early and I'm not nodding off in class like the last two semesters.

I have a lot to do today...write like 5 two page summaries on a book we're reading for philosophy and read some specific books from Homer's Odessey for mythology and some math homework. I think I'll begin that by going to play KotOR :D

Ilander 09-01-2004 01:02 PM

Oh, you bad bad girl, you! Seriously Jen, get to WORK, like m---wait, I'm on IWF instead of doing CALC II...

nevermind ;)

RoSs_bg2_rox 09-01-2004 01:08 PM

Shocking Ilander!

I must admit internet and games are too adicting though. I have just about managed to quell my WC3 adiction (have only played for about 30minutes in the last 6days or so, although I have been fairly busy and PC time has been limited)

Well, how is everyone today? Im grand. Had a good day so far. And now it't time to chill. It's my sisters birthday today so we (as in half the family) are all here celebrating. Well, we will be in a bit anyway.

Oh and Xen, I'm still really enjoying those updates, cause I kinda need to know what you are doing all day. ;)

ROFLMAO!!! Good afternoon, all. Sympathies to all afflicted with the Calculus. Calculus in Latin means stone, guess that's why it's so hard. :D

Lady Blue03 09-01-2004 01:44 PM

Eh, I'm getting to work now. I can't play that game for 15 consecutive minutes before the xbox craps out on me...

Besides it's only 10:45, I have the rest of the day for homework

Dron_Cah 09-01-2004 01:48 PM

First off, Bungleau, you are my hero!! I wanna be a professional geek/nerd when I grow up!

Anyways, I guess since no one else is, I'll do the sweeping this once. (grumbles about the penguin lord's absence.)

Ah, for the carefree life of a college student.

Lady Blue03 09-01-2004 03:30 PM

Oh yes, so carefree. Will probably change when I transfer to a uni, then it will be carefree and blurry :D

Xen 09-01-2004 03:54 PM

Evning. I am watching Pablo Francisco in Little Tortilla Boy and it is hillarious! :D :D

Dron_Cah 09-01-2004 04:13 PM

What the %^** are you talking about, Xen?

And, yes, Attalus, I agree, the care-free life of a college student would be nice. Where can I get one?? :D

Stormymystic 09-01-2004 05:55 PM

yay, my Canna's are blooming :D they are so pretty, I can not beleive that they are still alive...and on another note...I am thinking of taking a coruse in Paralegal, would that be a smart thing? I am 28, and have no real education the closest I have to training is a cook for resturants :( the courses I have to choose from vary, one that I am looking at lets me break up the coruses, which is cheaper, but will take longer, the other is basicly a crash course, where it runs for 6 weekends, every other weekend.

LOL, I remember thinking the same thing when I was "in uni," as Jen so elegantly phrased it, while pulling an all-nighter for my Organic Chemistry final.

Lady Blue03 09-02-2004 05:05 AM

And here I am up at 2am when I have school tomorrow, gotta get up around 9 to write some papers, class starts at 12:30. I'm going to bed around 4, but hey, such is life :D

Ilander 09-02-2004 07:30 AM

I know what you're talking about, LB...I was up at 2 last night, and it's now 7:27 AM...: :
