Well I figured since this is the first year I can actually vote, I should start listening to them, at least for a few minuntes, lol. You should have heard my brother voicing his opinion about the governor of New Mexico...ouch!

Going to see The Village in about 20min, then meting up with some friends at the beach for a bday party Have a great day everyone and *hugs* to Willow, welcome back :D

LOL, and Wellard's usually up at weird times...well, weird for me! :D How's life down there, Wellard?

Hot sticky day here and they are working on the elevator so we get to hear the bell ring periodically and have to use the stairs, which isn't so bad, except it's not airconditioned and for some reason it's usually more humid in the stairwell than anyplace else. Can we say FRIZZY hair day? LOL :D

Well it isn't too bad today. I was hoping the sun would stay out but no, dark clouds on the horizon. Are you by any chance stalking me Cloudy? So how's married life coming along? And give nacht a hug from me (unless he shows up here the next few minutes...)
LOL, hope you get some respite from the clouds soon! Married life is pretty good! I'm kinda liking this together-thing. :D I'll be sure and pass the hug on when I see him after work! Do post some photos of your trip if you have some! There's lots of room at Stealthy's for vacation snaps!

Welcome to the Cafe Spirits forever. Me and Johnny drink beer, Attalus drinks the finest scotch whiskey and I believe its your round

We talk about Xen mostly, what time he goes to bed, gets up, has a meal (spam usually) ...all the intresting stuff
What? That hurts you know. You hit me right under the belt. :D And I never, never spam.

So how is everyone? I am watching Primal Fear and eating popcorn. I will go see Spider-Man 2 tommorow I think.

So what was great about Britain? where did you go?

Hi wellard. We first went to Scotland for 3 weeks on the island of Isaly outside the western coach. Beautiful countryside to say the least. Went over to the mainland a couple of times but we stayed there mainly to rest up. Then we went south to Ireland for the rest of the time exploring that lovely island. And of course we stopped by London for a weekend to do some shopping. I don't want to know what my checking account looks like at this moment. ;) So I feel rested again which is a very nice feeling indeed. This is my last day in Bethesda as well. Going back home tomorrow which will be extremely nice since I'm very family-sick at the moment. Hopefully the hubby will have cleaned up the mess he's bound to have made until I get home. So how are things down under? I hope your family is well.
Congratulations on your visit to Scotland, I trust you had a great time :D

Hello everyone, I'm just going to bed... :D

lol, just kidding Xen. Well I just got back from the cinema, went to see that new film, the Knight one, about Camelot, although even though I went to see it a couple of hours ago, I can't for the life of me remember what it's called. Anyone care to freshen my memory?

Xen 07-30-2004 04:43 PM

How about Excalibur/King Arthur?

RoSs_bg2_rox 07-30-2004 04:53 PM

Nope that's not the name of the movie, this is really bugging me, I will be back with my own answer in a few ticks.

RoSs_bg2_rox 07-30-2004 04:56 PM

Ok, just found out, and its called...King Arthur! You were right Xen, strange I didn't recognize it when you said it.

Anyways, looks like, I have that mark, /me waves to Wellard, I think you know what Im talking about! :D You know, the one you passed not so long back, 26 posts back in fact

Xen 07-30-2004 05:00 PM

Congrats on the level up Ross! Few more posts and you will be as me. :D Glad to see that I was correct about the movie.

RoSs_bg2_rox 07-30-2004 05:12 PM

yep, I think I will blame my incompitence on lack of sleep, since in the last about 60 hours I have had no more than 9 hours sleep. I think that speaks for itself. I will definately not be getting up early tomorow!

Attalus 07-30-2004 05:52 PM

Afternoon, all. A trying day, that seems to be turning out well.

Lady Blue03 07-31-2004 01:55 AM

I had a fun day. Was slightly disappointed with M. Shamalan's The Village...wasn't nearly as scarey as Signs or 6th Sense...so I'll rate it as "decent"

Had a great day at the beach though! Good surf, perfect weather, and all my friends :D

wellard 07-31-2004 03:28 AM

Well done Ross, it wont be long before you overtake me in the contribution to Ironworks list

But remember Ross, quality not quantity

RoSs_bg2_rox 07-31-2004 06:33 AM

*Ross points to Billy Connolly post*, that enough quality for ya :D

Now all I need is a sig like yours...that sig rules, who made it for you? DK made me one, but I can't currently use it because of the roleplaying forum rules.

Lady Blue03 07-31-2004 06:59 AM

You know Ross...there is an option called "show signature?" That you can turn off per post if you need to?

wellard 07-31-2004 08:22 AM

Death Killer made mine to. Where is he BTW?

Just grab a small pic off a website somewhere and use that. I often use the Fat Freddy's cat or the Freak Bro's pics for my sig.

Maybe a guitar picture would do?

Stormymystic 07-31-2004 08:34 AM

have not seen him either, was just wondering about him lastnight, because he was the one who made my first few sigs I still have a few of them somewhere. well I am not beliving my luck, all of my kids are still sleeping, and that means I can drink a cup of coffee without hearing mommy every 5 seconds :D

Xen 07-31-2004 08:37 AM

YES! In my hands I hold the tickets for Spider-Man 2. The movie starts at 6.30 PM.

Stormymystic 07-31-2004 09:52 AM

cool, hjope you enjoy it I will wait until it comes out on indemand :D

RoSs_bg2_rox 07-31-2004 10:12 AM

I've seen it, its ok, but nothing spectacular, good special effects, but I just didn't really like it.

I never knew about that button Lady Blue,

Glad you had a good time, Jen. As long as we're talking sigs, I love yours. Looks just like you. Cerek, the Barbaric, made mine, and I think it captures my state of mind quite well. ;D

Yeah, we live 55 miles east of Dallas, about 90 miles from the airport. Why?

You can get KotOR for about $30 US at Amazon, Wellard.

Lady Blue03 08-01-2004 02:19 PM

Ah well, I'm going to be there for the AQHYA World show, so I figured if you guys weren't too far out you could come watch if you wanted ;)

*yawns* Well need to call my bro's house, and if his roomies are home, I'm heading out for a day of playing his World of Warcraft beta :D

Enjoy your days/nights everyone

Downunda 08-01-2004 04:22 PM

Sucks to be poor... my own fault for buying a bunch of new toys though huh

Got $14 to last till thursday so no boarding for me this week :( sorta over my sore knee and stuff so if the weather stays fine I'll be hitting the hills on my bike for a bit of downhill action this afternoon. Need to hook up with Tomo at some stage, she's just got a promotion and she's stressing bout the new stuff she needs to learn so a bit of relax time sounds in order.

Typed up a huge email on Saturday night to send to all my friends and family only to have my computer crash before it sent out... I've never been more pissed off at my puter before, grr.... Gonna retype it and try again when I can be arsed; might type it up in notepad and save it as I go.

Take it easy folks, see you

Stormymystic 08-01-2004 10:01 PM

I got me a new bike! I am so happy, it might not be the best but it is good. it is a roadmaster mountain sport sx, 24inch and 18 speed been out riding all day, to bad there is not any good mountains around here :/ the only one that does not have house all over it is in the shape of a cone, and only a walking trail then :( oh well, well just have to ride it on the road until I can find some good place to test it :D

Ilander 08-01-2004 10:06 PM

I'm exhausted in every way I can be exhausted...but I've posted nothing but sad things in the cafe lately, and I don't want to turn to the resident grouch...so...YAY, BUNNIES!!!! :::does a little dance, skips through cafe:::

Basically, though, I just want to say that I don't like it when long term goals rear their ugly heads in the present...maybe I'll go watch the South Park movie again...

Dron_Cah 08-01-2004 10:21 PM

Well, I have returned. Enjoyed the trip to Florida, and only have have one more week of work before I'm done for good, there!
Congrats on the level up, Ilander. lol (btw, watch what you say about my uncles, lol.) ;)

DS, I'm sorry to hear about your pain and bad temperment as of late. Why do you have a brace? Also, why do you think you're gonna be torured? Just dont like school? Anyways, I can understand the friends problem, I havent seen any of mine for a while, either, and need to rectify that soon. Anyways, hope things look up.

Have a good one, everyone!

wellard 08-02-2004 06:51 AM

LOL Attalus, your cheap and my cheap are not the same. I just spent a pile upgrading the computer last month so I will have to wait. The wife is taking me on holiday later this month for my birthday too, so I guess there goes the present option From what you and Timber have said about the game i'm sure it will be worth the wait.

It is really a beautiful game, much better graphics than NWN though still a little stiff. I don't like the combat system, much, but have seen worse. Like Morrowind. Wait until KotOR II comes out, then I suspect we'll see a drop. Prolly around Christmas.
Jen, when and where?

Ugh, the websites down though I'll come back later with the place ;)

For now, I get to go study...yay...*sigh*

LOL, Ilander, you made a fun post, so I guess your reign as resident grouch is over. ;) HEHE!

Happy Studying LB! Enjoy the bike, SM

Wellard, I hope you get some quality vacation time and a few good pics when you get to take your holiday.

Downunda, I hear ya! Been there and counting change for a soda! LOL

Stormymystic 08-03-2004 09:43 AM

about the bike...all I have to say is OWWWW, lol Caleb made me ride it for 2 hours yesterday with him, and my rear end is very sore.

Attalus 08-03-2004 01:28 PM

Good afternoon, all. A fine, hot day, here. Wait, that's an oxymoron...

Lady Blue03 08-03-2004 11:08 PM

Evening everyone Had an ok day. Was supposed to fly but instructor and I decided not to *shrugs*. Went through my log book and realized I'm still missing some required flying things *sigh*

My brother left awhile ago, now I'm getting my laundry done so I can pack for TX tomorrow

Lady Blue03 08-04-2004 12:44 AM

Oh and Bill, the name of the center the World Show is at is called the Will Rogers Memorial Center...the address is

One Amon Carter Square
Fort Worth, TX, 76107
