Especially if you drink beer while fishing. Hey, we might make a fisherman out of johnny.

Dron_Cah 06-26-2004 01:37 PM

Cloudy, you rule! It stopped raining about an hour before my party, and stayed pretty warm all night. (I do mean all night) Anyways, had a good b-day, so thanks for the well-wishes! Didnt sleep til about 6:30 this morning, and now im waiting for my friend sto get up. Well, later, everyone!

Oh, and that sucks with the whole oral pain, thing. :( Bleeding should stop, soon, though! :D

Attalus 06-26-2004 08:16 PM

Happy belated birthday, Dron_Cah. It is just getting to be evening, here. Rained off and on, today.

Jorath Calar 06-26-2004 08:41 PM

Ugh, just woke up... it's 00:30 after midnight... I took a book and started reading shortly after I made the above post... and think I got through 2 lines before I was ... in a coma...

So I guess it's another fun night... I'm turning into a vampire...

Dron_Cah 06-26-2004 11:19 PM

Heh, the "party's" still going! Those guys are in the pool again! It's frickin' freezing out, in comparison! Didn't give 'em anything to drink, or anything like that! LOL! Continuous laughter coming from the pool.

Attalus 06-27-2004 12:06 PM

Good morning, all. The rain is over, at least for now. Everyone is OK, I hope and trust.

Dragonshadow 06-27-2004 03:24 PM

UPDATE:
All teh blood I swallowed finally caught up with me, and I was sick yesterday.

On teh plus side, I passed my grading by 7 more points than last time, and am now a green belt.

Lady Blue03 06-27-2004 07:08 PM

Hi guys, just stopping in to say hello before I head down to San Diego to meet Em and Phil (Downunda). Hope ya'lls having good days

Attalus 06-27-2004 08:43 PM

It's doing better, Jen. Tell Phil we all said hi, or at least that I did. ;)

Ah, nice, DS! What style do you train, may I ask? Friends finally went home. Well, actually I took them, lol. Anyways, had a fun weekend, but tomorrow starts the clean-up in earnest!

Stormymystic 06-27-2004 10:08 PM

grrr, my husband is about to get on my last nerve! he is worse than the kids sometimes oh well, let him go to work and get out of my hair, how is everyones day going? I am so sleepy, and have to get skyler ready for school in the morning, Destiny goes to Doctor, and my husband and I have a doctors appointment in the morning, hopefully things will go well for us, and we can get DEW into her school after the doctor, so we will only have one child to deal with at our appointment

Well done, DS! I second the question about what style you train in. I've been out of the martial arts scene for a couple years due to injury, but last time I checked I was a 2nd degree brown belt in Shotokan.

Dragonshadow 06-28-2004 03:58 AM

Chum Kune Do.

Cloudbringer 06-28-2004 10:02 AM

Congrats on that new belt, Dragonshadow! My husband used to do various martial arts and a friend of mine was in karate for several years so I know it takes alot of work to get there!

Hey Dron, glad your party was ok! ;)

RevRuby 06-28-2004 10:23 AM

i am so ready to just runaway. nathan doesn't have anything positive to say about a new baby (getting another test today) and i am drowning in emotions trying to stay positive about our lives, i try to talk to him about prayer and scripture study and he has no answer, my kids are brats!

erilyn has been eating the powdered formula, playing with my stress relief cream, using baby wipes to clean the floor, and sprikling salt and pepper on me. i am sick of it! i am so tired of everytime i have a need for a break everyone in this house decides then is the time to dump everything on me. i am in such a bad mood, i feel like posting int he spanking thread nad threatening dreamer with dealing with my life for a day and have no desire to spank!

Cloudbringer 06-28-2004 10:47 AM

Yikes, RR, you need a break! Is there anyone who can sit with the kids for a few hours so you can recharge your batteries?

RevRuby 06-28-2004 11:20 AM

nope, melissa is in town today, so she is not here to help. nathan has off tonight, but he is only taking the girls if weather permits, and only so i can scrub the kitchen.

Attalus 06-28-2004 01:32 PM

Sorry to hear, that, RR. Is there a day care that offers special rates for drop-ins. so you can take a day off?

Stormymystic 06-28-2004 02:29 PM

rev, I know how you feel belive me, you should check into getting some help from the state for child care, you should qualify, we do, the girls go to a special day care for them, and medicaid pays for it, are your kids one it? if so, the state should pay for it check into it, tell nathan to take the girls anyway, regardless of weather, I make wade do this now, and he does it, though not willingly, well, call me if you need to yell or scream, I am here now

Attalus 06-28-2004 07:36 PM

Afternoon, all. Just walked the dogs, who should be tireder than they seem to be.

Dron_Cah 06-29-2004 12:39 AM

Chum Kune Do, huh? Never heard of it. Is it a Chinese style? I know of Jeet Kune Do, as pretty much everyone does. Anyways, congrats on the green belt, man! I don't know about Shotokan, but I would guess its Chinese, too? Thatnks for the weather, Cloudy! Sorry to hear your in a bad way over there, RR, I hope you get a chance to recharge soon! I just got out of work, first day at the factory. Thought it would be more boring, but it's not too bad! And I dont think dogs ever get as tired as they should, Attalus!

Mack_Attack 06-29-2004 01:10 AM

Rev I feel for ya somedays it seems like nothing goes right. But it sure sounds like you need a day at the spa. Staying home with the kids is a very hard thing to do. Anyone that says different does not have kids. ;)

I am not to sure if you have family close or not but it looks like you need to ask for a favor and ship the kids to a family member for a couple of hours. And during that couple of hours take some time to your self. :D

RevRuby 06-29-2004 09:12 AM

what is this "time to myself" thing you speak of? i thought i left it at the hospital after having justice.

i have family about 50 miles away, too far to just drop off on today's gas prices. usually i could get a bit if melissa was here, but she just got a positive pregnancy test and so spent the night in town with her husband to discuss options (keep or adopt.) anyway she got the positive i wanted. i got the negative she wanted. i am getting a blood test tho and that will be back on wednesday morning. i want to rule out false negatives before looking at other reasons to have my cycle 10+days late.

Bungleau 06-29-2004 09:55 AM

Hmmm... three kids and a lot of stress... didn't I read somewhere that THAT can make your cycle late?

I hope you're getting some rest... somewhere, RevRuby. They're challenging enough without being exhausted all the time.

RevRuby 06-29-2004 09:57 AM

yeh everyone keeps blaming it on stress...but stress has only ever made me early, never late before. and i think (jmo) that 10 days is a bit late for even stress. but anyway, like i said if the blood test says no i will be seeing my dr.

Stormymystic 06-29-2004 11:36 AM

yes please do, there are other things that can cause you to be late, cyst, swelling or other nasty things I do not want to discuss ;) but I know how you feel, and hope you do get some rest, perhaps you can find a cheap babysitter from your church?

Dragonshadow 06-29-2004 01:58 PM

Hope things get better for you soon RR.

Just as you think you have a problem fixed, it comes back again, and makes me wonder if the only way to solve it is through violence. Once again, I find myslef teh subject of verbal abuse from my school "mates". I also find I am having more mood swings than I used to and they are getting more and more violent. one minute i am on top of the world and laughing, the next I feel like hitting anyone near me, and I have even had to develop a system where I use a certain pen for weather or not I am in a bad mood. I think I might be manic depressive, but I'm not sure, and noone belives me.

Dragonshadow 06-29-2004 01:59 PM

BTW Dron_Cah, it is either chinease or japanese. Look up the website: www.chumkunedo.co.uk

do not go with out treatment, this sounds more like bi-polar than manic depressant, and eaither way, it si still bad, and can be treated if caught, so please go see a doctor and get help

Attalus 06-29-2004 02:48 PM

Afternoon, all. RR, hope things get better for ya. Rainy, again, today. Are you sure that it's summer?

Xen 06-29-2004 04:25 PM

Evning all. It stopped raining here and will be sunny tommorow and the day after tommorow. I am watching news and preparing to cheer for Portugal tommorow. I have tight schedule tommorow.

Stormymystic 06-29-2004 04:53 PM

same here attalus, it is sunny at the moment, but more rain heading our way, we watched the last one form before our eyes, and it did not go anywhere for over an hour, just built and poured, our yard was flooded, why does it rain more now than it normally does in the spring???

I think I might have Social Anxiety Disorder, or whatever it's called. I'm very shy, so I only have one person that I ever talk to at school, and only one other friend that I talk to from before I moved where I am now. I even read the posts I make on IW over a couple of times to make sure I won't embarass myself.

I don't know if it is or not, since all I know about Social Anxiety Disorder is from a commercial. :D

I had my two front top pointy teeth (don't know what they're called) removed when I was about 7. They had to numb my mouth with a shot, and being 7, I cried the whole time about the shot, before and after it, even though they partially numbed my mouth with some jelly stuff before the shot. :D My mouth bled for a few hours. A couple years ago, my dad told me that the dentist actually said not to bring me back there again. :D

Boy, did we get the rain; an inch , at least. The yard is getting out of control.

Mack_Attack 06-29-2004 11:18 PM

Attalus please send some of your rain this way. My new sod is needing it. And it is alot easier if nature does it then me. I have been running around with a sprinkler attached to my butt. And yes that is not fun. ;)

Dron_Cah 06-30-2004 12:00 AM

DS, you should definitely have that checked out. Possibly some kind of hormornal-thing, but I definitely wouldn't know. I look for the site, but it didnt seem to work. I'm pretty certain it's Chinese, though.
Mack_Attack: I'm ROTFLMAO, imagining you running around the lawn with a sprinkler on your butt! :D

same here....do the birds follow you around with that hing showering them with water? :D

Mack_Attack 06-30-2004 01:20 AM

Yes yes make fun of the sprinkler man. :D ;)

Well this is my last night of work here at the gas plant. I start my new job next Monday. It is going to be weird not working for the company that I have been with for the last 5 years. But I am also looking forward to doing something a little different. :D

I also just watched "6 feet under" for the first time. And that is a very cool show. I wish I would have watched it a little sooner. I may have to get satilite. Just so I can start watching it. :D

Well off to Edmonton tommorow to look at some houses then off to calgary for a short trip to visit some family. So I may not be around for a few days. So you all have a good weekend. :D

Over and out ;)

Stormymystic 06-30-2004 01:23 AM

akk, forgot that show was on :( man I missed it, what happened?

Lady Blue03 06-30-2004 01:40 AM

Hey all. Sux to hear bout all the rain. Here on the west coast we've had nothing but sunshine :D except in the evening, thats when the fog rolls in from the beach.

Heading to Magic Mountain tomorrow with Phil, meeting a couple of friends up there hopefully. Should be a fun day.

K, off to bed now, have a good day/night everyone
