Awww, Stratos, don't mind Johnny, he was just pulling your leg. Yay, I'm better today, but not quite up to breakfast, still a little queasy.

Cloudbringer 04-29-2003 09:30 AM

Hey Vaskie! I am playing on your projet site- is this a global system or specific to a country or region? I plugged in the Hawthorn/Highfield examples you gave me, but of course, I've no idea where they take one or if I even WANT to find Furzedown Road! LOL

Pretty cool though! It's running a little slow- could be my pc.

Stratos 04-29-2003 09:31 AM

Some wine it is, thanks. Sorry, I gotta go again.
*Mumble* Darn short breaks at work *Mumble*
Will be back in a couple of hours.

Cloudbringer 04-29-2003 09:35 AM

uh..Hi Stratos, bye Stratos! :D Come back soon!

Ok, I'm still getting weird looks from Nachty.. LOL ever since I posted the dish thing at Oasis! HAHAHAHA! Ok, but he KNEW I could be weird when he asked me to marry him... so he shouldn't be surprised, right? LOLOL!

LOL I haven't got global data in there, only about 20 roads for a local neighbourhood near where I live! It's supposed to prove the concept. If I wanted to I could plug in a huge database of road data for the whole world (getting the data and getting it into the right database columns is another matter) and it should work (of course then I'd have fields where you specify country/town).

I figured as much, not seeing the options for country/city, but hey, you can think GLOBAL one day and cash in! :D :D :D Seriously, though, sounds pretty neat and it worked - gave me some directions to various junctions. I didn't have any reference points to do a trip route...what's on Furzedown? Any good restraunts? :D

Fine Horatio. It seems Night Stalker is helping me get my trade mark and copyright on willow sticks. :D It´s been a beautiful morning here although somewhat chilly. The fireplace was lit early this morning and I sat in my favorite chair reading the paper and having my breakfast in an all quiet house. Mmmmm. And how are you? Running about I guess. ;)

Night, how about 3%? I have to haggle for the sake of it. :D Hmm wonders what´s for the upcoming lunch. Fried NS with vegetables perhaps. :D

I have adversely possessed her intelluctual property rights to the Willow Stick, and you need to go through me instead. And, Willow, to the extent you are receiving any rogue profits from your now defunct business, I encourage you to cease and desist, lest I be forced to file an injunction. Oh, and

You should be grateful I let you use the Willow Stick free of charge, even on me when I'm in a good mood. If you keep taking my profits, I will not only sue you, I will also start charging you a per use fee, and I will remove your name from the label. Then you'll be adrift intellectual property, like the trademark name "Rosie" looking for a home.

Hi Stormy
I've been busy the last few days, so haven't been around. Thursday I was in a programming seminar. Friday I was painting walls at an AIDS clinic for the United Way's Day of Caring and yesterday I was sick. Soooo, this is my first day back here since Wednesday. And what do I come back to? Fighting Cats, missing WMOD, NightStalker being served up on a platter, pending litigation between TL and Willow, and you feeling neglected. :D :D :D
Well, *hugs* to you. It's easy to see how you can get lost with all that other stuff going on, LOL
How's everyone doing today?

EDIT: Oh yeah, since I haven't been here in a few days, I should probably add my usual complaint about how I hate my job. I thought I might have some work on the side, but I haven't gotten a reply to the email I sent and it's been a week and a half. Wish the economy would pick back up so I can find something.

I love IW. It makes my time in this dump go by so much faster!! Cuts down on my productivity, but at this point I really don't care about that.

</font>
ACK!! Here, look at this cute picture of my kitty to calm ya down. Hmm, maybe this picture will also help stop the lawsuits between TL and Willow, and maybe people will look at it long enough for NightStalker to escape from the platter. :D :D :D

Night Stalker 04-29-2003 01:32 PM

ROTFLLAO!!!!!

Hey Timber! IIRC I coined the phrase "<font color="deeppink">Willow Stick™</font>" on <font color="deeppink">Willow's</font> behalf while announcing your Fight Night. Should evidence be provided to show otherwise I will claim that it was doctored to support fraudulent abuse of my clients TM.
Back! *rolls eyes* tht Lawyers! .....

<font color="deeppink">Willow</font> - you do realise you're sending an engineer/soldier into a legal battle with a lawyer? While I am by no means unfamiliar with the battlefield, paper work is not my strong suit. "Tradecraft", computers, and communications are. Our best tactic is a massive DDOS against TL's infrastructure to prevent him from building an overwhelming legal paperwork onslaught ...... beyond that, we would have to wage a hit and fade campain. Unfortunatly should he get his legal machinations online - it would most likely be a battle of attrition .....

Stormy! Don't feel too bad! While I seem to be popular at the moment, it seems that I am either caught in a legal crossfire or on someones dinner plate :( If you want to garner attention .... why not borrow from a comercial from a few years back and encourage everyone to "Get Mystic!" (and it works on multiple levels - yea!)

Harley - as I was just telling a friend (he's been out of work for 9 mo - just found a job) for tech .... you need to get out of New England. Besides the obvious "decreased amount of cold weather" benefit, the tech jobs become more plentiful as you head south.

Kat! Good to see you around again! Feeling happy? That's good.
Here that should make you even better! (this is somehow wrong http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...ons/icon32.gif )

Wait a second, the other miniature giant cheeky adolessant is noticable missing ....

Yes Cloudy .... we do this all for your entertainment you may now bust a rib now. (see Attalus to get it fixed though, Willow is probably working on a Barbaqued Cloudy Ribs recipie )

Cloudbringer 04-29-2003 01:39 PM

Err, Kaltia...that looked a little more than happy...LOL does Willow know you borrowed the stick? ;) :D

NightStalker, HA! If she could find my ribs... LOL *looks down and sees the results of far too many brownies and fast food meals* :D I AM having a good chuckle in here today, though!

harleyquinn 04-29-2003 01:47 PM

I'd love to get out of NY, move somewhere warm. Unfortunately, it looks like my sweety is going to start going back to school up here (either for his masters or just some masters level classes), so I'm stuck. Although, I'm also getting to the point where I'm starting to feel like, "Give me a reason to stick around or I'm getting on with my life". At the same time I don't want to feel that way, so I'm kinda stuck in a limbo.

But... WE HAVE WARM WEATHER!!!!

Night Stalker 04-29-2003 02:00 PM

I know, I know .... I lived in VT for 5 years. The seasons are Winter - Mud - and August!

Attalus 04-29-2003 02:02 PM

Afternoon, all. Oh, well, at least someone is having a good time.
