I mentioned before on a different post just before you opened up your Portrait Portal to the public that I absolutely love your portrait!
I will once again repeat that statement by saying: I absolutely LOVE your portraits!!!

You are unbelievably talented, Karse and I think you should keep this up for as long as you possibly can. Congradulations! It's not everyday someone as talented as you comes around. Keep up the great work!

This is kinda weird, the portraits dun show up in Shadow Keeper, or in the game menu when you select a portrait...did anyone notice this either? Am i doing something wrong? :(

YOu should unzip the file into portraits, then in the game go to 'custom' on the portrait menu

Did you install a patch? Maybe (if you didn't install a patch) it's because the file named "Soze1S" should actually be named "Soze1L" and vice versa. My bad. Don't know if that'll make a difference.

To speak clearly ;) : I think your work is some of the finest I have ever laid eyes on - truly, you have an exceptional talent. One other person in this thread mentioned Callisto from Xena, and as such, I'm here to beg that request further!

I've gone out a'searchin for the best photos I could come up with of her (and I looked for them large, as that seemed to be what you prefered to work with for details sake - as well I looked for ones with high quality, and these seemed to fit the bill) and stumbled upon these beauts!

I certainly can't bend your arm to do such, but I would certainly be quite grateful if you might find the time to work up a little diddy to add to your fine gallery using one of these portraits of Callisto (they're all quite good, I wasn't sure what your -exact- needs would entail, so I decided to try and search you up plenty to peruse over). I'd be overjoyed to be able to use some of your fine art worked up with one of these pictures as my protaganist portrait on all of my BG endeavors. [img]smile.gif[/img]

If it helps, I noticed that your small portraits have the L at the end, and the large ones have the S at the end. This might be causing people some problems. Also, I noticed that your large portraits are 110 x 171 pixels - I think the game needs it to be 110 x 170. And the small portraits should be 38 x 61 pixels, not 39 x 61. Hope this helps. I have been looking into that whole Callisto thing. I didn't know her beforehand, but she has certainly come to my attention now. I'm not much of a Xena fan (I like wild australian women, but not on the television...sorry...that was low), but I'll put that Callisto girl in a frame, as soon as possible.

Just wanted to tell you all, that I have added a new "Xena-feature" to the Portrait Portal. Though I'm not satisfied with the results, I have temporarily uploaded one of Callisto and one of Xena. I think your Xena collection is off to a great start, they look awesome! I've already snagged the Callisto you have up currently - and if you truly aren't happy with it and redo it, then that just means I have even another(!!!) portrait to use of Callisto! :D :D :D

What the existing BG portraits lack is a Female Half-Orc. The old picture for Shar-Teel would make a pretty good Female Dwarf, but there's no female Half-Orc. So....Roseanne Barr?

John Malkovich, Calista Flockeart (an Elf, of course)..... and Robin Williams is such an incredibly HAIRY man he could be 3 or 4 Half-Orcs all by himself.

I would reccoment using Danny Devito for a dwarf or halfing pic.

Arnie's cigar made me think of Pres. Clinton. He'd make a good Jester pic.
