I thnk we're both right. Fallout 2 had it all. And more Monty Python references.

Link 01-14-2004 02:32 PM

Well.. in Stupid Invaders you DO play with stupid aliens who crashed on another planet (Earth) trying to repair their ship... soooooo... I was right after all

I would have included more from the manual (i.e. "swallowed by a giant space fish and defecated into the vicinity of the Island"), but it seemed a little excessive at the time. Now I guess I should have.

If it makes you feel any better, here's a cookie ... Oh, looks like you're a little too late..

Link 01-14-2004 04:48 PM

Ack! It's a blue monster! Eating a cookie!

Dalamar Stormcrow 01-14-2004 07:46 PM

I meant fallout2.... but you can both go.

the mighty stamar 01-15-2004 01:19 AM

ITS GOTHIC!!!!!

OK my question is out of the loop now.

Niadh 01-15-2004 09:48 AM

In this game you play a demon hunter and have a large arsenal of weapons at the end. Many dramatic posturing happens in the game. The original for the prize.

Dalamar Stormcrow 01-15-2004 07:51 PM

Doom?

Niadh 01-15-2004 08:21 PM

no, PS2 game.

Dreamer128 01-18-2004 11:05 AM

Bloodrayne?

Niadh 01-18-2004 11:11 AM

Close, similar type.

Combos give out high bonuses if there are enough hits.

Bozos of Bones 01-18-2004 11:13 AM

OK, here's a REALLY BIG hint to the game I posted: The sequel is just out now!!!

Jaradu 01-18-2004 11:44 AM

Niadh: Ghost Hunter?

Niadh 01-18-2004 07:04 PM

No- next clue

Protagonist wears a red coat.

the mighty stamar 01-18-2004 09:13 PM

legacy of kain

I doubt it. Both Kain and Raziel wield the Reaver, and neither is considered a demon hunter. They fight demons (don't get me started with SR2  ), but it's never been the main objective.

Bozos of Bones 01-19-2004 06:55 AM

Devil May Cry?

Niadh 01-19-2004 02:42 PM

Bozos wins.

Bozos of Bones 01-19-2004 05:04 PM

"KO! Bozos wins!!!"
So, with the one that's active(scan an asteroid in an asteroid field, go away to get a weapon and then go back to destroy the asteroid, something like what you would have played if you had Spectrum back in'84, a sequel has just now gone out, come on people! I'm practically telling you the name of this game!!!) I add this oldie but goldie:
Several of the missions in this game are to kill a mouse that never dies. Use dynamite, anvils, cannons and more! Here's a pretty big hint: the game is incredible!

dplax 01-19-2004 06:43 PM

Isn't it called something like the Incredible Machine? You have some fix elements in a 2D environment and have to add a limited number of elements in order to get the mouse. Elements can include cannon, fish tank, cat.

Bozos of Bones 01-20-2004 05:14 AM

I made it too easy, didn't I?
Anyway, dplax goes.

Link 01-20-2004 06:54 AM

Did you ever try and drop the cat from a height in TIM? That's friggin funny

dplax 01-20-2004 08:59 AM

Here it goes then.

This game has a name whiwh is the name of a place in Lord of the Rings, but the game has nothing to do with Tolkien's books.

Lothorien?

Nightowl2 01-20-2004 03:38 PM

Moria? I know there was a game by that or maybe Mines of Moria, but Moria was certainly in the title.

Nightowl2

dplax 01-20-2004 06:07 PM

Nope you both got it wrong. Keep trying. Here is another clue: the game came out in 1995. And Nightowl there are mines on the games.

Niadh 01-20-2004 07:41 PM

Mordor?

I heard that name before, not sure if it was/wasn't related to LotR.

the mighty stamar 01-21-2004 12:22 AM

ya ill guess mordor and mordor 2, which got renamed to avernum probably because it doesnt have anything to do with lotr.

dplax 01-21-2004 07:10 AM

Niadh got it right first. You go!

Sorry Stamar nothing for second fastest.

Niadh 01-21-2004 10:12 AM

OK, me again.

This fantasy RTS has four unique races and light RPG elements.

Bozos of Bones 01-21-2004 01:09 PM

Warcraft III?

Niadh 01-21-2004 01:32 PM

You win again.

Bozos of Bones 01-22-2004 03:58 AM

OK, here goes(I can't believe you can't get my first game) the second:
This game consists of three parts: FPS, adventure and hand to hand combat. David Bowie made the music and appears in the game.

Target 01-22-2004 04:07 AM

As I'm fairly new to this I hope I'm not stepping on anyone’s toes, but this game is one of things that just popped into my head. Is it Omikron: The Nomad Soul?

Bozos of Bones 01-22-2004 01:04 PM

up, it's Omikron. Go, Target.

Target 01-22-2004 03:23 PM

Right, I'll start off with an easy one, (well I think it is ;) )
In this game you find that your vampires are annoying your warlocks, so you build a
separate lair for them next to the graveyard.

Mouse 01-22-2004 04:37 PM

Dungeon Keeper?

Target 01-22-2004 05:56 PM

Got it in one mouse!!
Said it was easy. ;) your go!

[ 01-22-2004, 05:57 PM: Message edited by: Target ]

Bozos of Bones 01-22-2004 08:36 PM

I never noticed vampires piss off warlocks. Strange.
Anyway, I've finally decided to change my question. It was X-Beyond the Frontier. Shame to all who played it and didn't get it. The new one:
You set up your strike force from your army for every mission. Your surviving troops gain exp, the ones that die are replaced after the mission with unexperienced ones. Stunning 3D graphics, excellent strategy and tactics and extreme playability.

shadowhound 01-22-2004 08:39 PM

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Island Thunder?
