I thnk we're both right. Fallout 2 had it all. And more Monty Python references.
|
Well.. in Stupid Invaders you DO play with stupid aliens who crashed on another planet (Earth) trying to repair their ship... soooooo... I was right after all

Ack! It's a blue monster! Eating a cookie!
|
I meant fallout2.... but you can both go.
|
ITS GOTHIC!!!!!
OK my question is out of the loop now. |
In this game you play a demon hunter and have a large arsenal of weapons at the end. Many dramatic posturing happens in the game. The original for the prize.
|
Doom?

no, PS2 game.
|
Bloodrayne?
|
Close, similar type.
Combos give out high bonuses if there are enough hits. |
OK, here's a REALLY BIG hint to the game I posted: The sequel is just out now!!!
|
Niadh: Ghost Hunter?
|
No- next clue
Protagonist wears a red coat. |

Devil May Cry?

Bozos wins.
|
"KO! Bozos wins!!!"
So, with the one that's active(scan an asteroid in an asteroid field, go away to get a weapon and then go back to destroy the asteroid, something like what you would have played if you had Spectrum back in'84, a sequel has just now gone out, come on people! I'm practically telling you the name of this game!!!) I add this oldie but goldie: Several of the missions in this game are to kill a mouse that never dies. Use dynamite, anvils, cannons and more! Here's a pretty big hint: the game is incredible! |
Isn't it called something like the Incredible Machine? You have some fix elements in a 2D environment and have to add a limited number of elements in order to get the mouse. Elements can include cannon, fish tank, cat.
|
I made it too easy, didn't I?
Anyway, dplax goes. |
Did you ever try and drop the cat from a height in TIM? That's friggin funny
|
Here it goes then.
This game has a name whiwh is the name of a place in Lord of the Rings, but the game has nothing to do with Tolkien's books. |

Moria? I know there was a game by that or maybe Mines of Moria, but Moria was certainly in the title.

Nightowl2
|
Nope you both got it wrong. Keep trying. Here is another clue: the game came out in 1995. And Nightowl there are mines on the games.
|
Mordor?
I heard that name before, not sure if it was/wasn't related to LotR. |
ya ill guess mordor and mordor 2, which got renamed to avernum probably because it doesnt have anything to do with lotr.
|
Niadh got it right first. You go!
Sorry Stamar nothing for second fastest. |
OK, me again.
This fantasy RTS has four unique races and light RPG elements. |
Warcraft III?
|
You win again.
|
OK, here goes(I can't believe you can't get my first game) the second:
This game consists of three parts: FPS, adventure and hand to hand combat. David Bowie made the music and appears in the game. |
As I'm fairly new to this I hope I'm not stepping on anyone’s toes, but this game is one of things that just popped into my head. Is it Omikron: The Nomad Soul?
|
up, it's Omikron. Go, Target.
|
Right, I'll start off with an easy one, (well I think it is ;) )
In this game you find that your vampires are annoying your warlocks, so you build a separate lair for them next to the graveyard. [ 01-22-2004, 03:24 PM: Message edited by: Target ] |
Dungeon Keeper?
|
Got it in one mouse!!
Said it was easy. ;) your go! [ 01-22-2004, 05:57 PM: Message edited by: Target ] |
I never noticed vampires piss off warlocks. Strange.
Anyway, I've finally decided to change my question. It was X-Beyond the Frontier. Shame to all who played it and didn't get it. The new one: You set up your strike force from your army for every mission. Your surviving troops gain exp, the ones that die are replaced after the mission with unexperienced ones. Stunning 3D graphics, excellent strategy and tactics and extreme playability. |
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Island Thunder?
