Therlion and Keal each get 5 reward points for winning the fight against Lord Easthome's men. Therlion also gets 4 extra points for informing Turin's group about what was going on and everything he managed to get done in town.

That brings the totals to (along with the others):

Keal: 5

Turin: 16-10=6 reward was the ring which heals gradually over time (who is wearing this at the moment by the way?)

Therlion: 11. Pm with an idea for a reward.

Terias: 9

Robyn: 12-10=2 reward is the wolfpup as a companion

Roland: 15-10=5 reward is the sword he is using right now, but I feel it isn't quite powerful enough so pm me with an idea to enchant it.

Roland and Turin shall get more reward points after dealing with the situation at hand same for Keal and Therlion.

Background history (a bit):Adohorn was born in the family of Firdolion two hundred and thirty years after the elves first set foot on the island of the valar. In his youth he spent a lot of time in the court of Lord Fingolfin the greatest of elves. He lived a happy life until the time when the elves started crossing back over the seas. He was faced with a great dilemma as his father and whole house opted not to cross the seas, while everyone he had spent his life with were leaving. He spent many sleepless nights pondering the problem and then eventually decided to cross the sea leaving his whole family behind, for which he always felt guilt. In Fingolfin's court he trained to be a ranger and became an excellent hunter and marksman. Then one day news came to him that his father had been killed by one of Morgoth's attacks against the island of the valar. Overcome by guilt Adohorn left Fingolfin's court and roamed the lands for several centuries always hunting down Morgoth's minions.

Specialties: Stealth, Anatomy (Backstabs, Tendon Cuts, Etc.), Throwing Weapons

Background history: Known to be a master of stealth, able to slink from shadow to shadow unheard or unseen by any but the most trained of eyes and ears. Although not the strongest of warriors, his speed and precision make up for it. He uses his skill for the purpose of good, usually acting as a spy or scout for whoever he is traveling with. Celedor is a master swordsman, able to wield two swords as easily as most others can wield one. He is also quite accomplished in the use of throwing various weapons, but sticks to daggers. The hood of his cloak covers his face so that only his eyes may be seen, and he rarely speaks unless spoken too or feels that his input may be of use. He is a fierce fighter, a strong partner, and if you are ever called his "friend" you will be such for life (unless you cross him).

The different colored points represents where characters can now be found.
Yellow is Robyn and Roland.
Red is Turin, Terias and Kirûn.
Blue is Adohorn, Therlion, Keal and Kalam.
Green is Feldorn, who might soon return....
Brown is Celedor.

I did not indicate on the map but the path from the stronghold to where Celedor is the path the orcs followed. I only indicated the edge of the mountains so actually the mountains last until the right hand edge of the map.

Sorry I have been away. You definately don't want to hear all the excuses and problems that could explain my absence, so I won't waste your time trying to spell it all out.

Now...where am I? The map looks incorrect in regards to my last post...as I see nothing that suggests that I have met up with Terias and Kirun...or did I miss something?

Since Terias was the only active player in the stronghold group in one long post I made them escape following the red lines, and since Turin was outside the town he was the first char whom they met.

OK. As it seems that there has been some confusion considering whom Adohorn hit here is what happened.

After killing the two horses the warg started running off, Keal started after it just as Adohorn fired an arrow and Adohorn's arrow hit Keal from behind in his right shoulder

As you may have noticed I haven't been real active in the roleplaying. This due to my lost of interest and no longer possess the zeal I once had. This is not because of the storyline or setting, it is just that roleplaying is not exactly my thing. And I am sorry that the LOTR roleplay had to be the first for me ditch. Belongings:Dual (custom made)Katanas, desinged to be more compact, so as to conceal them easier. Tattered black clothing, and a pendant that belonged to his mother, along with a dagger that belonged to one of his families attakers.
Background:As a young Elf, Salphurs family was attacked by a band of strangers, mainly humans and elf's, during the battle Salphurs sister and parents were slaughtered, he only managed to escape, because of his keen sneaking abilities. Since then he has been forced to fend for himself, and has a growing hate for almost all other people. He has vowed to find the people that killed his family, due to the two items he keeps that remind himof what happened. He travels with his only friend(Intrepid)
Specialities:Due to his avoidance of people, he has practiced his stealth, and has developed it to an extrodinary level for his age.

Hurlon was born to respectable parents, and had a good upbringing, although as events seems to transpire against he began to resent the world, and his lust for power grew. After meeting Salphur Domestee, his childhood friend who had fallen to evil ways he was corrupted by as the pair embarked upon many evil activities together.
Specialties: Stealthy, Inginiutive in use of objects/weapons.

After some discussion with Bozos on MSN I have decided that I shall explain the magic system much better than it has been done so far.

A magic user (mage or healer) has 100% energy to start with. There are four categories of spell sizes: minor, intermediate, major and massive. Casters can be specialized or not. Here are the spell costs depending on caster (minor/intermediate/major/massive).

Non specialist all spell classes: 10/25/50/100 (if a massive spell is used the caster can't cast a massive spell for the next two days)

Specialist: own spell class: 5/10/25/75

other spell class: 20/40/75/can't do

10% is recovered per game-hour.

If a minor duration wants to be added to a spell then that multiplies its cost by 2. If a longer duration wants to be added that multiplies by 3 and if a permanent duration wants to be added that multiplies by 5. This applies to spells which can have a duration. Not all spells can be made permanent. This shall have to be discussed with me if you wish to make a spell permanent. If by using this the cost of a spell goes above 100 the spell can be cast but the mage's energy shall go into the negativ domain and he/she won't be able to do anything until the energy goes back up to 100.

Example:

Telekinetically throwing a dagger once costs 10 for a non specialist, throwing it several time during five minutes costs 20, throwing it several times during an hour costs 30, this spell can't be made permanent.

The spell classes are: elemental, telekinetic, healing, life/death, other. I think they are pretty self explanatory. Other should be use if a spell really can't be categorized.

The current magic users in the game are:

Therlion: telekinetic specialist.
Terias: elemental specialist.
Robyn: healing specialist.
Adohorn: general caster, but his maximum is only 25%. He gets this power for being an old elf.

dplax, I was going to post, but then I realised that I don't know whether Adohorn actually knows who these people are. Was he told or are they strangers to him?

Adohorn hasn't seen the people yet and has only heard the soft sound of their horses hooves on the snow. He doesn't know who approaches and whether it is friend or foe.
