To dissect...

In response to the question there are three traps:

1. honestly - yeah, right. This is a false teaser that doesn't want honesty, but signifies that if the response appears to be less than sincere, all hell will break loose. Danger, Will Robinson!
2. look - You want a response, regardless of whether I can easily see you (or the goods in question) in the appropriate light to make a true judgment. Time also counts against me, because you don't want to wait for me to finish the paper (or whatever) before responding. So I have to stop *whatever* I'm doing, spend the *ideal* amount of time investigating, and deliver the *right* answer. Sheesh!
3. big - Talk about trouble! If I say yes, I'm calling you *ahem* well-padded. If I say no, and you think it looks big, you think I'm just lying for ulterior motives. If I don't answer, then you assume the worst and decide that I don't care enough to communicate honestly and openly with you

Notice that I evaded all three traps by simply and honestly stating that I haven't told you whether or not I could see it, but you *assumed* that I could and did. I responded quickly, which leads towards sincerity because I wasn't trying to find the best way to deliver bad news. And I didn't say whether it looked fat or not... just that it looked perfect.

And you ladies are in awe of my eyesight... :heee:

Of course, now that I've divulged this male secret, I may be banned from the society... :( oh well... Is there room over there?
