Ahh Halloween. Except for the kid without a costume and an LCBO bag, it's great. I hand out candy, haven't trick or treated since I was 11.

Got some bad news for you, my dear... it doesn't slow down the Christmas decorations. They were out in force here at least two weeks ago... :(

One of our truck's tires apparently was slashed last night. Wonder if I pissed somebody off by turning out the lights at 8:45, or what?

All I know is bleh, that's it LOL. I'm doing a big NOTHING next year, that really pisses me off.

Well it cost $85.00 to replace it, so I guess yeah, re that particular truck tire.

We had the annoying teenagers who don't even dress up come by. Boy am I loving the automatic watering system I installed in the front yard.

Pops up from the ground and soaks them!!!!

Thats what they get for not even trying!

Had a few small kids dress up as ghosts, princesses, power rangers etc. Gave them a few treats.

Ladyzekke 11-01-2005 08:40 PM

So that's $85.00 in truck tire, $35.00 in glorious mixed candy, 3 hours of my time not being able to game or anything cause I'm waiting for the inevitable trick-or-treat knock, that's a good $100.00 in my own personal time LOL, $5.00 in batteries that powered the "closet light" that I used to put into our carved pumpkin instead of a candle (looks better and brighter that way btw). And all for a holiday that is not celebrated the way it should be anymore. I.e., the frikken mothers trick-or-treating now, the plethora of kids that don't dress up at all anymore, or even say "trick or treat!" when you open the door, they just stand there with their bags held out. Now, I'm gonna get vandalism cause I maybe I didn't hear the door one time, or turned the lights off too early, or something?

They will be lucky I don't stand on my porch next year and scream obscenities at them all with a camera in my hand filming them ALL! Or maybe a shotgun.... LOL, yes I'm kinda bitter about it all right now.
