As far as i know he needs 90% to gain total control. Not sure how he gets it, but he's pretty determined, he's been at it for the last 4 years, so i don't think he'll give up now, wouldn't you think ? His son is gonna take care of the day to day business once it's settled, so i doubt he'll be around much himself.

Btw...have you heard about that Turkish businessman trying to become owner of Liverpool ? First thing on his agenda is change the name into Istanpool, wouldn't that be something ? :D

when he gets 75% he can take the shares off of the stock exchange. he can decide not to pay any dividends so the shares will just be scrap paper. when he gets 90% he can force the other 10% to sell to him at 300p per share. if they don't sell they lose all value.
