heheh...i know, but at least it did make you bring out the beer, and that's my one and only purpose on this planet. :D

Edit: and this was absolutely necessary to correct all the typos. Beer doesn't improve that skill, that's for sure.

Had too much beer already, Johnny? ;)

Evening, all. Just finished up a long travel trip... I've driven almost a thousand miles since Wednesday night, and while I enjoy driving, I've now had enough, thanks

Spent the latter part of this joyously warm afternoon doing yard and house work. Put together the power washer that I picked up last summer and started cleaning the green "stuff" off the siding. It worked amazingly well, and I discovered something, too -- our front porch was tiled by the previous owner, and I accidentally found out that the grout between the tiles is really white! All this time, I thought it was brown...

Then I finished rearranging the deck... taking one section of wall and swapping it with the stairs. Ended up as a longer project than I expected because I didn't have a real pry bar last week... just some piddly little six-inch thing that's good for lifting small nails and denting wood

Got inside, got the kids to bed, and I might even have a chance to game tonight... except I'm really, really tired.... and I've got to get up at 7 again tomorrow morning (which is sleeping in for this week).

Man, I'd be ecstatic if I could drive 1000 miles.

Long drives wear out pretty quickly Sir Goulum LOL. Do it once and you'll see.

I didn't have any power washing experiences today myself, still too cold outside, I'm hybernating until Spring really gets here, and I mean REALLY gets here, not the touch-and-go crap we've had the past few weeks!

But since the weather has been cold, I have accomplished much in my DS game LOL, am in Chapter 4 now. Fighting worms with wings and dopplegangers that look like one of my party members. I didn't know how much my main character sucked until my party killed her a zillion times over LOL. Doh!

Well, it sure seems like fun time when you've only driven 3 times or so. ;)

Ditto that, Sir G. I'm 20 but I haven't got my driver's license yet. Sure as hell would like to drive around, but I simply cannot afford it. Both time and money-wise.

Still car shopping but we're getting closer to buying one. Still have to check the Hondas but may end up with a Subaru.

Sir Goulum 04-17-2005 05:10 PM

Subaru's are good cars. What kind are you thinking?

I never got a drivers license till I was about 31 years old. I was licensed on Boeing 747 and used to 'drive them' from the terminal into the hangers and do engine runs etc on them before I could drive a car. When the wife got pregnant I thought it might be time to learn to drive. Of course I've had a bike license since I was 17 (yes they had motorbikes back then)
