You've been away too long Memsies! Harmison is now the No.1 ranked bowler in the world! He took a hat trick in the one dayer against India yesterday.

He's backed up by a resurgent Hoggard and Flintoff. And then there is Ashley!!

I'll say no more - let's wait and see. I'll let you lot blow hard!

Against India - with their top line batters like Tenulkar, Dravid, VVS, ganguly and Youvraj??? Let's be fair Memsie - that is a good effort.

How many of those named did he skittle over in this triumphal hat trick?

Unfortunately The Klingon had removed those listed earlier in the match!!

Davros 09-04-2004 09:59 AM

Oh no - you don't mean he dismissed numbers 9,10 and 11 do you? That would be the cheapest and most meaningless sort of the available hat-tricks - wouldn't you agree?

I was watching your Mr Harmyipsonjust a few minutes ago. Three wides in the one over - looks like he is starting to panic again at the thought of fronting up to the Aussies soon ;) .

That's spooky Davros! You must be physic! Only two days after you posted this the world's best bowler has indeed dismissed Ganguly, Laxman and Dravid! Only Youvraj escaped!

Any tips for the 3.20 at Newmarket tomorrow?

The sports bulletin I just listened to announced all was back to normal with English sport. Wilko had returned to the rugger paddock and was kicking goals as was his wont, and the English cricket team had re-discovered their proper form, losing to India in the last of the one-dayers :D .

Nah! Just trying out a few new things in a dead rubber whilst the King was watching his baby being born.

I heard a pom won the match against Pakistan for you!

Davros 09-06-2004 06:12 PM

LOL - so you saying that all those "dead rubber" arguments I have thrown up over the last few years are really truly valid - it's so nice to get that in writing so that I can have it to quote back at you :D .

And your Pom reference wouldn't be about the Queenslander Andrew Symonds would it. He's the guy you tried to pinch a couple of years ago, but even though it would have meant an armchair ride into playing test cricket he couldn't live with the concept of being considered an English Cricketer ;) .
