Sorry I haven't been on in ages, but w/ the holiday and w/ playing my main character on Dalaran, I haven't had time. And, sorry, but I'm still questioning whether a RP server is for me.

I'm beginning to wonder whether people know what's RP stand for. While playing my character, I hear LOL, NOOB, curses and cusses. I also see people wanting to organize raids to gank alliances. And some rogues decided to call me F## for not wanting to duel with them.

Same on all RP servers. Man I was worried about people berating me for talking OOC now and then but my god, I rarely see RP happening on my RP server. It also raises the question of where is it appropriate? In high-end instances and BG's there is little time to RP or the team dies...so that leaves when people are just standing around I guess. I'm still confused by it myself.

I can't see Role-playing WOW. For RP I really want a live group of people. WOW is more like a tabletop miniatures game than an RP game.

yeah, you will find that RP isn't very commong on a RP server, but you are more likely to find a guild or group of people who really do roleplay on a RP server ;)
