I wouldn't worry about it, they sound like sad, sad gits who need to get out of the house and realise that there is a little more to the world than computers.

I've got no bloody idea, seriously - leave me ALONE!! sorry but it is true, my husband bought and installed it, so I do not know what it is, and can not be bothered to look ;)

Not really worth it at all - an FX5200 will give much better results, and is actually quite a good card for the price. (They're sold up here for cdn$99)

I'm using an FX5600 o/clocked to 330/510, with DOT enabled, and can run Far Cry with textures and special effects on high and everything else on medium. At 40fps.

Anything less than a fifth generation card just won't run Far Cry worth a damn.

Good to see the royalty knowing what's good for them.

as long as it's not a GeF4 MX then you'll actually be upgrading, which is good. but those icky GeF4 MX's are just the worst kinda scam: rebranded GeF2 MX's by nVidia for Dell and other companies who want to say their low end systems come with a GeF 4 card. very sad and nasty of them to do that, i say. :(
