As a child I wanted to be a teacher, then a palaeontologist/archaeologist/zoologist/diver. :D Then I wanted to be a singer, then a teacher again, only at university (English)... and now I don't know.

I wanted to be god when I was a kid, yes really.
When at school I realised that it was a bit unrealist so I decided to be a genticist, close enough.
No I want to opens a shop in Shinjuki, Japan.

I've always considered being a writer, mechanic and politican.

Right now, not a solid clue. I'm thinking along the lines of maybe a teacher (math or something like that, anything but english or science or social studies :D ) or perhaps, as I've said in a different thread, a Youth Pastor (same thing as a pastor just centered on the younger group, and you typically work for the pastor) I've also been offered a job as a pool cleaner, provided I can get a drivers liscense (don't know if I want to make a career of that though)

When I was growing up I wanted to be a Youth Counselor. Out of all my friends and myself, there were very few people we could openly talk to about our problems without fear of reprisal (We weren’t the best of kids, and school counselors would be required by law to contact the authorities). I thought that if I provided an opportunity for kids to unload their problems and talk through difficult situations, I could help society.

Then I grew older and realized that would only be attempting to bandage a wound. The real fault lies within the cooperate world and how they have the ability to over work their employees which can cause harm to a family. So, I entered the field of Human Resources in an attempt to improve the work environment in such a manner that parents are able to receive the specific needs to complement their family life (Better benefits, shorter work weeks, additional vacation).

I've wanted to be a teacher, a policewoman, an interior decorator, a florist, the treasurer ( :eek: ).

When I was young I always wanted to work in professions i then considered heroic, like firefighters, soldiers, police etc.., but then later as I saw the situations these people had to live in because of the low pay they get, I changed my opinion went through several phases, and know I am set to become an engineer. I don't know about the specialty yet though.

I wanted and still want to be(still young) profesionall football(soccer) player.

I wanted to be an archaeologist.
