Who said the post reduction was scripted and not done by a human being?

I thought by negative posts you meant "Your momma's So fat she makes your posts seem bigger" and such. I don't thinkt he system allows for negative numbers... Seriously...

Hmm, are the mods not telling us something... I wonder. Perhaps they are aware of the Dog & Cat War, and how Choc is a cyber cat...

But what would happen then? Would it stay at zero, or go to the highest number of posts. Hmm, I think people who aren't members but are searching the boards might get an idea...

Though as of late, I was accused of spamming in the BG2 Forum, bloody hell I guess I'll have to remember which is a discussion area and a game area
Me too! And we were just doing Star Wars talk... :( (Altough it had nothing to do with the topic) so i guess this might be it. Imagine:instead of getting banned you get negative posts.

And don't even think about mocking my balancing a large lump of cheddar on my head skillz.

Yes I know the silence from my part must have been a excruciating experience for you Vaskey. But I didn't want to break your concentration. It is a rather larget lump of cheese you have there on your head. Or is it perhaps an infected boil?

<span style="color: lightblue">The postcount modifying would probably be as /)k describes - the number of posts is typed in by hand. There would thus be no need for negative postcount support, and so it would be an unsigned (absolute) value.
However, there would obviously need to be two scripts involved to deal directly with the postcount (forgetting ranks): one to increment it by one when you post, and one to decrement it by one when a post is deleted. So, it would have to be limited at 0 - no wraparounds to a high number, or someone who's postcount is set to 0 for spamming could theoretically gain many many ranks simply by deleting one of their posts.
