Dont smoke, never will. Stupid stuff. Drank my first alcaholic drink at about 7 but actually started drinking at about 13.

Around the same here as Johnny said, although smoking a year later, IIRC- however I gave that up quickly.

Inever smoked, and I very rarely drink. I don't really remember when I first tasted alchool. Probably when I was around 15.

First started drinking in middle school, gave it up during high school, and fell back off the wagon in college. I rarely drink now, but still enjoy one when I go out.

Smoked cigars on three separate occassions (the first time at a retreat, and then twice at bachelor parties), and stopped after that.

I've never smoked and never done any drugs. I had my first 'serious' drink at 15 but I wouldn't say I 'started' drinking then as in from then on I regularly drank. I don't regularly drink now, just occasionally if the mood is right. I think alcohol has just never really been a culture if you know what I mean in my family. I've never actually seen my parents drunk although they do drink wine every night at dinner. But alcohol's never been synonymous for me with partying/having fun/going out, and I'm not the type to just crack a beer just because I'm thirsty or something.

I don't smoke, I start to drink when I first work ( 3 years ago ). I had to or people will call me strange if I don't drink.

Smoked intermittently around 15 or 16, then a bit in college. Stopped after that, and other than occasionally bumming a cig in a bar or something, I haven't smoked since. My dad's last vice is smoking, and I've got the kids working on him to quit [img]smile.gif[/img]

Drinking... started around 16 or 17, picked up steam in college, and then petered out. I still drink, but rarely. I have been drunk, but never enough to get a hangover.

Part of the reason I stopped drinking so much was that I never reached my limit of drinking. And it wasn't for lack of trying to find out where it was, either. :D It's just that after drinking to the point where rum tastes like water and you've already out-drunk everyone else, what is there to shoot for?
