and yay for you Lord Kathen. erm...whats Multiple Sclerosis? i'm sure i've been told before but i just can't remmember. now for my good news. I finally have a Girlfriend (yay). i'm really happy right now even though i've managed to get labarynthitus and a cold AND a soar throat meaning i'm throwing up every day. yuck. also 2 of my friends both got Gf as well, so i'm happy for them (well one of them denies there going out with them but we all know they are (friends my arse)) :D . |
Kathen, I'm so sorry to hear that. It's wonderful that you can put a positive spin on it though, good for you! Hopefully next time no new lesions hey?
It's beautiful weather, I have gorgeous shoes, my kitten's asleep in my lap, and my supervisor says my thesis is going great! |
Oh....tonight I found that and that made me very very happy.
Don't ask, enjoy. Yeah I know I'm a weird guy :D |
Two joyous things today...
First, one of my heavy travel months is over. I've been in five states over the past month, experienced some of my most challenging flights ever... and now I get to be home for a while. There's a lot to be said for sleeping in your own bed without having to pack up in the morning! And second, when I got home tonight, the kids were both in bed but not quite asleep yet. Great big hugs and kisses were my reward when I checked on them, and it really warmed my heart to see them again. They're young (3 and almost 6), and I know I won't be their favorite person forever, but I certainly am enjoying it while it lasts! |
(This would be my cue to show off?)
I am happy because I have been doing really well at school over the past year. Not to say that I've never done well at school previously, but last year was my eleventh year at school, so we had our first batch of big exams. Just to be a show off, here're my results from last year The grading system is pretty basic: A (Achieved) as a percentage is 50 to 70%. M (Merit) is 70 to 90%. E (Excellence) is 90 to 100%. NA (Not achieved) is less than 50%, but I got none of those :D The letters can be quite confusing, because many people automatically think that A is the highest mark. Anyway, if you can decipher my horrid explanation, here're my results: Biology - Genetic information = M Human systems = A Micro-organisms = A Economics - Choice and Demand = M Producers, resources = A Supply = E Market = E Sectors of economy = M Decision-making = E Eco Investigation = M English - Creative writing = E Formal writing = M Extended texts (novels etc) = M Short texts = A Visual texts = M Unfamiliar texts = M Speech = M Presentation = M Research = M History - Historical Investigation = M Communication historical ideas = A Interpret hist. sources = M Perspectives of people in hist. setting = M NZ Identity = A Computers - Composition = M File Management = E Process different media = A Decision making = A Spreedsheets = A Communicate information = M Maths - Algebra = M Linear, Quadratic graphs = M Measurement = A Geometry = E Number = A Geometric reasoning =M Statistics = M Probability = E Science - Chemistry = A Physics = M |
Bungleau, your last sentence is very cute ;)
Pcgiant, congratulations for your brilliant results :D *cheer* |
I spent 20 minutes on the phone with the girl I "broke" up with last week, very nice to hear her again, we are just going to be friends and she asked if we could maybe visit each other in the future... I told her we shouldn't make any plans...
But I feel so much better after talking to her, even if I know it's over... weird? |
Not weird Joran. You needed to talk to her for the relationship to be over for you.
I'm glad you feel better. ;) [ 03-26-2003, 02:51 PM: Message edited by: Masklinn ] |
