The hubby recommended Pegasus. It´s a mail client and it has built in features of selective downloads. I tried it, really cool. Before downloading the mail from the server you get a view on what is on it, then you can select what mails to download and which to delete.
We used to have Pegasus at work. I loved it! Now we have outlook and I have to admit, I don't like it at all. My spam mail at work increased by about 90% after we switched over. Seems that happened to alot of people when we switched over to the MicroShaft product.

Is there any way to get these people to stop sending these e-mails to my e-mail addy?

Just under 30 seconds ago I had no idea whoe or where you come from.

So, first get a whole new account.
Second do not trust any one or any place with your real e-mail account.
Third, get a junk account, hotmail, yahoo or what not, and use that when you must publish a contact.
Stop publishing your home-page, and real email account info.

You must be vigilant in your encounters on the web.

The best way to get rid of spam is prevention. Personally I use two email accounts. One for registering on websites, the other I give to friends. Not too surprisingly the personal address gets only 0-2 spam messages a week, the other gets 7-8 a day.

That program looks interesting, Ronn. How long have you been using it? Any problems or does it mesh easily (what os are you running, out of curiosity)?
I'm using XP Home, and I've been using Mailwasher for a few weeks. It's been working great. It doesn't replace Outlook or whatever program you use to check mail. It looks at the things that are still on the server and can bounce them from there. I forget who mentioned it to me, to I'm hooked on it. :D
