I thought so!

It was a Smirnoff Ice ad. They played it twice. I haven't heard it but I spoke to the guy who assured me I was on it. Must be pretty soft and indistinct. Could even sound fairly femalish. I did a heap off stuff and he grabbed only a line or two. Don't know which ones. I'll hear it soon.

Damn - I saw the end of the ad - but I never read this thread before the game so Iwasn't listening especially to hear how distinctly "you" it was. Normally I would have taped the game because I would be at work, but this year they played it on Australia Day so I could watch it live :D .

I was thinking of "THe Collective" too when I saw the ad - first thought was that I had never heard of it before - next thought was of Wolfie and his Wodka in the freezer .

Hey Yorick! The "false Yorick" has been getting a lot more work since you left town...

Are you serious? That soundalike guy? Oh well. I thought he went to London...
Well, I don't know, but I've been doing a few double takes lately with several new ads. Guess they miss you, huh?

As for sounding femalish, how would we distinguish it from your other work? ;)

And Wodka belongs in the freezer. Replicates leaving it in the cupboard in a typical Northern European climate....
Actually, when I was in Engalnd, my Grandma-in-law kept her milk in the pantry during the winter! Imagine doing that here! ...oh, I had a friend here who did do that - he was Indian though.

OH rats, I missed it! Well, maybe we'll get to see/hear it again sometime.

So that's why curry can give you the runs...

LOL! Once it's 'cured' they put it back in the fridge.
Yorick, were you there (at Pronoun Pronoun's place) when Dave and Rich drank some thinking it was regular milk? One of the funniest moments in my memory!

Yorick 01-30-2003 01:11 PM

Did you know his name couldn't have been PronounPronoun? What idiot made that up? :D It should have been "Indefinite-Article Conjunction" LOL :D

Yorick 01-30-2003 01:21 PM

Or at least PronounConjuction....

Leonis 01-30-2003 06:49 PM

A misnomer he's still stuck with...(well we're still using it) :D

He could have been "Pronoun Pronoun d"

EDIT: it could have even been Rich who coined it...I'm not sure. Someone in his year.
