we can spend that money much and much better

Do you REALLY want more "blue" in the streets ? Every time you see them coming it's gonna cost you money. That's all they do, give people tickets, they're good at finding reasons to take people's money. Commanders of policeforces throughout the country will have their wages lowered if their officers don't bring in a certain amount of money by the end of 2003, what kind of policy is that ? They'll be motivated like madmen, you can believe that. I don't want more blue in the streets, i just want the blue we already have, to get their asses off the A2, stop bothering the forensic people, and do some real policework, maybe then they'll regain the people's respect. Remember those stickers we used to have ? "de politie is je beste vriend".... well, who needs enemies with friends like that eh ?

Oh come on dude, the F16 is over and done with, you don't wanna discuss this with fighterpilots.

'I' would prefer to have the intire police force reorganised. In Germany, the same number of cops solve 50% of all crimes, down here its more like 15%. Financing more and more officers, as well as wasting money on insane VVD projects (I.d plicht, anyone?) is the dumbest thing we can do.
But apparently, the mayority of voters doesn't agree with me..

And whats the use of more police with the prisons are filled with bolletjesslikkers who only are abour 3% of the heroine smuggle towards the netherlands? It's about time we set priorities and time we let people know and feel that you can get punished for theft aswell

Yeah.. the real criminals are being released because the 'bolletjesslikkers' (who are seldom real criminals) are taken up too much space...

How long do they keep them here then ? ( de bolletjesslikkers i mean)

I think we should stop wasting time on Bolletjesslikkers(they only acount for 3% of the smuggled drugs) altogether. We should go after the bigger drug lords.
And about the guys we do catch, just put them on a plane to whatever country they came from (unless they're Dutch of course).

That's the problem, they're either from Curacao or Aruba, still part of our kingdom. They can come and go whenever they please.
