Congratulations, you have discovered the same thing I did two years ago - there is Ironworks, and then there is EVERYBODY ELSE!

I'm sorry if this is raining on the parade but 9_1_6 could you please do me a favor (and probably some other members) and change the font color you use to something that is more readable. Those with bad eyesight thank you. I know that it isn't a big deal when reading such a sort post but when it gets longer, it gets very annoying.

Attalus,
I've dispatched a couple of Amazonian Mantraps from the Gael Serrin to take care of you.
They
will
hunt
you
down.

I agree with everyone , except Attalus of course, but you've forgotten Wyvern. She runs a tight ship at the W&W forum.

So am i, like, lucky to have stumbled upon IW before any other forums?

[dodges barrage of rotten vegies]

I take that as a resounding yes.

Bottoms up to the IW mods and the allmighty Ziroc.

Yup, missed her as well in CrimsonBlade's list... Wasn't it easier to just say "all the moderators"? ;)

:D - you will find that Wyvern was in the list I made in my first post on this thread Mr George Lake (or Grolsch or whatever ;) ) - those of us that grew up under her protective custody in W&W would never do sucha thing as forget Jeanne - three cheers for the mighty Wyv - "RUGGLES DARLIN".

George Lake, er? [/Homer Simpson]
Now we're on the subjects of lists anyways, I've added that one to mine. Wouldn't want to leave that one out either. ;)

Be nice Attalus! Our bar is NOT misspelled, which you wouild know if you had ever played the game. ;) The name has nothing to do with what you suspect. It is a reflection from the game, since there is a Boogre bar in it, boogres being troll like creatures.

You also forgot to mention the lovely Wyvern, our dear moderator at the W&W forum.

Ladyzekke sent you a hi in the W&W forum. Don´t mind Attalus. This poll says it all: http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/cg...;f=12;t=000565 :D

Absolutely! Great thread and sorry I've been away the last few days!

I have been to many other sites where it's okay to curse someone out for asking a question of any sort and the mods can even tear into a new member for asking a question. I've seen places where they say 'it's ok to do or say anything here!' and you get porn, backstabbing and lots of soap operas but NO real answers to your questions and lots of superficial 'welcomes' that turn to insults soon enough. I know a few members came here after trying those main sites for some game manufacturers and couldn't believe how much easier it was to post here without being ridiculed or torn to bits over a simple game issue! Well, that is IW. A safe haven where we can talk about the games, the weather or the news and not worry about how the next guy might call us twenty names and act like we have no right to be here because we didn't know what color a potion should be or we like snow.

JJ said it best, I think.

Adding my own kudos to all here; Ziroc, The Moderators, and ALL the posters that make IW the best on the web.

I found IW looking for help on W&W. I tried several others first but never got a single 'good' answer. Being a well experienced gamer and CRPGer (cut my teeth on D&D for paper and Wizardry 1 for CRPG) I was very suprised by the total lack of help/compassion/courtesy/etc on every other forum I tried. IW has been only GOOD and FUN since I found it. Sure wish I had found it when it started...would have saved me an awful lot of grief on several games
