I just tried to convert your metric size and weight to feet and pounds and I think you'd be 5'6 165 lbs. That's pretty heavy for your height. You must be pretty built.

I think I'm 186 cm, and 100 kg.

I usually train daily. The program usually is:

-10 min running
-30 situps
-30 push-ups
-light weights
-10 situps
-heavy weights
-20 pushups

Sometimes, I cut down on the situps and pushups, but usually, I manage to follow the program.
I am 175cm high, and weights around 70 kg. ;)

I havn't worked out in some months now. School and work (15 hours a day) give me just enough time to eat and sleep. I'll start back with it when I get out this August. Previously, I was doing a lot of weight lifting. My bench press had just topped 310 when I quit. I'm big, athsmatic, and a bit chubby presently, so my run time has always sucked. I was running 1-1 1/2 miles a couple times a week and biking on the weekend during the temperate months. I'd like to get a good exercise machine to compliment the weight bench for the cold months. Unfortunately, a guy my size needs a pretty sturdy machine and those cost money. Right now, I like the Schwinn ellipticals. Very good machines for a reasonable cost. The Schwinn elliptical also has the benefit of being quiet, which is good when you have downstairs neighbors. It generates it's own power for the electronics. It's still about $1000 U.S. though. I simply can't afford one until I get paid better. With the economy around here, that could be a while. ;)

You may have converted wrong, mate ;) 173cm is 68 inches, which is 5"8. 5"8, 165kg.

Here's a link on HMB that you may find useful.

You know what they say about couples and if they continue their *ehem* activities daily they lose weight rapidly over time...

If you're single, THEN WHAT"S HOLDING YOU BACK? RUN A MARATHON!

"Hello, I am Hanz..."
"Ya, und I am Franz..."
"And we're gonna PUMP *slam* YOU UP *point*"

:D now that's working out...

The best thing I've used so far is Andro. That really helps you put on some lean mass.

I'm totally with you. I avoid roids like the plague. You see guys all jacked up on roids at the gym and half of them are broken out with zits like they were in high school.

Musashi's exclusively in Australia and Asia, I think. You should be able to find HMB from EAS or another supplement provider.

I go to the gym twice a day (morning and after work) Mon through Fri. I have to stay pretty big because I bounce at a local club on Wed night and weekends. I currently am 6'1, 220 lbs @ about 7% body fat. I'm currently on an Andro stack while taking Gainer 1000, Twinlabs Whey Protein, Muscle Milk, Universal Creatine, Glutamine, and carbs. After this month I will be cycling off for all of July.

For all you lifters out there, what supplements are you taking? What really works for you?
Us twice a day gym rats gotts stick together. I dont take any supplements , but I eat all day at work. I work at a restaurant so I can pretty much eat what ever and when ever I want. I have found that a steak or 3 a day helps me keep on the muscle better than any supplements.

Proteins are good - I get my proteins from things like red meat, eggs and fish as well. Protein shakes never worked for me (then again I'm at my proper weight anyway).

Just for the record, most supplements like creatine, HMB, etc. work mainly by speeding muscle repair after exercise as well as minimizing muscle breakdown, which means you can go to the gym and stress your muscles more often - rather than increasing muscle mass per se. It's when you rest and eat that you gain the bulk.

HMB is a bit more of an exception - even if you do minimal exercise you will still have minimal increase in lean muscle mass and a reduction in fat - it's a fat metaboliser. If you exercise and eat properly you the benefits increase exponentially. The best thing about it is that it's not an artificial substance - it's found naturally in the body and in foods like catfish and alfalfa. So it's not bad for you.
