Though it was nice when it first came out, the TnT range is looking a bit dusty now. It has problems with some of the newer releases, which utilise technology you'll only find on more modern cards. A friend of mine still uses a TnT 2 and swears by it. Each to their own I suppose...

The GeForce 2 is a nice solid 3D card with plenty of power in any incarnation. I'm running an Ultra but they're probably still a bit on the expensive side. You could always try the GTS or even the MX. I'm not entirely sure what prices are like but I'm sure a quick paddle with a search engine will tell you all you need to know.

I'm not sure anyone can confirm this, but heard there was a problem with Geforce cards and older power supplies. Also some people say such a fast graphics card with P2 is pointless as the processor won't be able to keep up. Any thoughts?

BTW aria.co.uk are doing 32MB TNT2's for £25 and 32MB Geforce 2 Mx for about £40.
