Aww... such good wishes - and steamy clinches - I am touched by them. Thanks, folks (smiles, tries not to cry)! I feel old. I feel good enough to write a story fgor the occasion, which I think I’ll do. I went out with my close family for a slap-up meal in true, family-slap-up-meal-type-celebratory style. The waitress turned out to be a girl I’d once met several years ago while both of us were in hospital for something or other, which is even more coincidental because the restaurant is only seventeen days old and five mins’ walk from my house… which just PROVES it’s a small world. It IS a shame about the Lego, but then Lego isn't as much fun anymore - back in the old days you could build a sailing ship out of an airport but now it all seems far too specific. And Karnas REALLY splashed out and bought me a whetstone, because, he says 'You really need a new one'. I disagree, surely it's HIM who needs a new one? But I digress... And yes, I can now legally drink in the US, which is odd, because I could have legally bought a gun 4 years ago. Hmmm…

"I'd like a beer, please."
"How old are you?"
"16."
"No chance, sonny."
"(sigh...) Hey, how much for the gun?"
"50 dollars."
"Ok. One gun, please."
"Here you go."
"Right. NOW give me some beer." http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif
