I have staked 3 (three) vampire coffins and poured Elhan's holy water into the bath upstairs and the pools downstairs. Nor did I go into any of the rooms that adjoin the room with the five blood pools (downstairs).

So I seem to be missing some key element to set off Bodhi's death sequence. Please either let me know if I'm missing a step, or tell me what the Shadowkeeper variable is to kill her!

Your not missing anything! Its just that you are pumping SO much damage SO quickly and she's yelling 'ah! ah!' (that sounded wrong ;) ) so she can't initiate Dialog.

You have to either: Stop hitting her
OR: if that doesn't work hit you allies (drizzt and co. ... on second thoughts avoid drizzt go for the rest) so they'll leave and THEN stop. Then maybe you'll be able to have her talk and scream:

NPP is negative plane protection, indeedy. It doesn't last very long, so make sure it's the last spell protection you put on. Haste, bless, and chant are pretty good group effects to add, too.

I can confirm that in the second battle with Bodhi, one does NOT need to either drive stakes into the 3 coffins on the upper floor, OR use any of the Elven Holy Water. You only need one stake, for Bodhi herself, to kill her and get the Lanthorn and her heart. You also don't need to go into the spike room.

You can always come back later if you want to, to stake those last 3 coffins and do the spike room. I never did find out what pouring holy water into the blood on the upper floor did, but pouring it into the blood pool on the lower floor will Slow Bodhi--hurting her THAC0, AC, and Regeneration.

I tried walking away from Bodhi, but Drizzt and company keep beating the you-know-what out of her. Is there a bug in this game that I don't know about? I'm afraid that if I hit Drizzt et al., they'll start pounding us and even kill us off.

when I have the water I just put it in my quick item slot and it lets me use it like a wand. I get the little magic icon and i click it on bodhi and if I recall correctly last time it MAY have got her down to injured from uninjured, but it may have been barely injured.

oh, and I also wanted to ask if jaheira ever gets any of the anti undead cleric spells like false dawn and glory bolt(?), cause I've got her up pretty high but she never seems to get them, I think aerie does but she always has a tantrum and leaves my group!

Nope. Jaheira is a Druid, not a Cleric (diffrent spell choices). Sorry!
