Ziroc, May I just say that so far I'm impressed with the new board?! It is much smoother and has a classier feel. Background colors, format..all very nice, more sophisticated than the old blue board is. Sorry- still love that board because it was the first, but the new one is a step up!

A "who's online" would be wonderful!!!

I'd also like to see the input box wider.

Ziroc--
I asked this same question on the BGII forum board, but Gray Mage suggested I post it here also.
Is there a reason that I have to "refresh" a topic page when I re-enter it? The 'old' forum automatically updated the posts, but this one doesn't seem to be doing that.

Moridin, there is a 90 sec delay to prevent flooding the board and causing a crash. You don't need to refresh, it will appear shortly.

Ziroc, why don't we add the Avatar as suggested, but make it our photo and keep our sig. That way people could see not only what we looked like, but also get a feel for our personality.

Just chiming in my two cents: YES to Bigger text box, YES to who is online, NO to counter of people who have clicked on the site.

I'm still playing with it, but it looks good! No more crashes, no more sadness, no more teachers dirty looks . . . http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...ncgi/smile.gif http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...ncgi/smile.gif

Someone mentioned time zones on the polls forum. Would there be a way to have the user's local time as well as a fixed time (like EST they are currently using) Just a thought . . .

As an "ANTI"-add on - I would really like to see the
"modified by blah blah blah" messages removed. I find them annoying.

Any one like those messages??

Wyv

Cloudbringer 03-01-2001 05:45 PM

Wyvern- YES I do find them very annoying. BTW everyone, if you modify a message more than once, you can actually delete those nasty messages and will only end up with one when you finish- I've tested it! http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...gi/biggrin.gif

Ziroc,
Regarding the time zone thing.. could you just add a link to an applet somewhere on the page for figuring out various world times? You may have access to something like that, but if not, I think I may be able to find one or two...can't recall the names/urls just now. If you need them, just yell my name, I'll do some checking.
