I have to say that I gave up on the swoop racing. I didn't have the patience it took to practice the race, lose, rinse, repeat method over and over (it's probably just my reflexes that aren't doing the job). Since the racing seemed like a real marginal add-on (second only to pazaak), I just didn't bother. But lots of people seemed to enjoy racing. It must be nice to become the swoop champ.

Anyway - I am posting to ask if anyone else has found that combat in this game (especially after the first couple of planets) is really unbalanced (read: pretty easy)? I don't mean this as a good thing at all, because even on the difficult setting, my party is just slicing through everything (especially if I bring two other jedi along). It's still a lot of fun and a great story, but... Any thoughts?

Well I have finally finished, What a twist, what a ending. Time to play again as one mean b**** and take over the galaxy. No more nice stuff this time to see how evil I can get.

One of the best RPGs I have played not only does it have a good story the graphics are nice too.

The problem is not the racing, but the time it takes for you to be able to do a rerun. First you must listen to the "boo's" from the crowd and watch the little movie before you can talk to the swoop race manager again.

I resent both thos statements! I was a very moral orientation confused Scout\Consolar on my first try! I took out Malak in 3 minutes flat! No Guardian can touch that. Force Wave, Force Wave, Force Wave, Force Wave.

Hmm, I guess to an extent, but I also found the reverse could also be true when fighting Dark Jedi. At times I really did choke, and it was game over, reload use some jedi power easy victory. A little seemed to be luck on who got there force power to affect the other first. Still a great RPG however even at times combat may have seemed unbalanced.

No question it's a great game with a great story. I ended up turning up the difficulty setting about half-way through the game to maintain a bit of a challenge. Then, at two points (final battle and one fight on Korriban), I had to turn it back down just to survive.

But when the game is that good, a slightly unbalanced combat system won't keep me from playing through again.

Starting on II now, so far very similar in terms of gameplay? I am wondering am I still the same Jedi as in this one, 5 years does not seem a long time to rule, if not how did I get the ship and robots. Hmmm? Don't tell me I am sure the story will work itself out.
