I was an NES child. I spent long, long hours playing Castlevania and Megaman, Metroid and Mario. I love them so.

To pick favorites, I'd have to go with Mega Man 2, Crystalis, and Dragon Warrior 4. DW4 was the first good RPG I'd ever played, and the only reason I even bothered to try out FF6, the game that really, really got me into RPGs. Crystalis was also a great NES title, sort of like a pre-Seiken Densetsu game. That's the Secret of Mana series, for those that don't know. And MM2... Man. Sidescrollers for life, boy, I'm telling you. I still play that game today, just for fun.

And you can never go wrong with Tetris.

You mean River City Ransom, correct? Yes, that was a fun game.
They are doing a remake for the GBA. :D

The only known screenshot of RCR Advance.

And if anyone else here can read Japanese, it's comical. "DODODODOKKUN~!!"

Haven't we forgotten something, little one? (if you tell me from what movie this is, you get an oral praise)
Pong, Tetris, Bruce Lee and Scorched Earth: the mother of all games.

Oh yeah, I forgot about Bruce Lee (jumping around some of those screens was a bear, and I used to love wasting the big guy chasing you). How about Archon? True battlechess.

If were going to include Pong, then we have to include stuff like Space Invaders, Berzerk, Wizard of Wor, Defender, Breakout, Pitfall, Missile Command, Frogger, etc.
