As Thalali drank deeply from the shotglass he felt a bit uneasy, and then felt it coming right back up, you were able to lean over to the side before you emptied your stomach onto the floor, instead of onto the bar, one middle aged man in a leather flight jacket asked if you were ok, and pointed at the large amount of blood in the vomit.

OOC: congratulations, you've learned another important rule about being a vampire, you cannot tolerate liquids besides blood, you can hold it in your mouth, but swallowing it makes you nautious.

for Mistral
As the woman looked up at you, to thank you, a voice like your own, but very unlike yours nearly shouted "IT DOES NOT LIVE" as you jump back from the Voice, you see the woman looking at you quizzically you see her face, but over it almost like a hologram you see a rotting corpselike face with shrivelled skin, and sunken eyes crawling with maggots. The woman reaches up to you with a hand/mummified claw, and you feel a dark malignancy coming from the woman.

The stench of the grave fills your nostrils with the smell of refuse mingling with rotted flesh, and hear "Deary, are you all right?" several other people walking along have noticed your odd behavior but apparently see nothing wrong with the woman.

Cornelius chuckled as he saw the newly turned vampire vomit back up the drink he was drinking. It brought back memories of how he was turned and what it was like as his first few years as a vampire, and how he was controlled and forced to kill his own father. The pain and anger pooled up within him, but he pushed it back. He was used to doing so after 2 1/2 centuries. For him to show weakness was for him to lose everything. He had made his reputation as being hard, and he had the skills and the knowledge to back it up. To mourn for his dead father was nothing but a waste of time. He was going to bring him back. one day he would find the means to do that. One day. . . .

Bakilas smirks as he watches Thalali vomit the drink back up. Ah if this is the future of the kindred we are in trouble.

Unlike most other newly formed vampires who attempt to keep drinking normal liquids like they used to before they were changed Bakilas had jumped at the chance to experience the life of a vampire. After the first taste of blood he had never looked back, he was soon addicted to the power that being a vampire gave him and he had no regrets at leaving his old life behind.

Storm looked up in disgust at all the gawking patrons of the bar, frustrated that he was borne into such a race as this that held no compassion for others of their own kind. Looking over to the human that had suddenly became rather bothered at the sight of Thalali vomitting, he said "Thank you for the concern friend. It is his ulcer acting up." Turning to Thalali, he said, "You know the doctor told you to stay away from alcohol. Now get up and I will take you to the hospital." Storm stood up to leave, waiting on his new friend to compose himself.

Thalali to Storm

Thalali wiped his mouth and got up from his chair. He followed Storm's lead as he lead him out of the bar.
"What have you got on your mind?" Thalali asked after he was sure he wasn't being eaves dropped upon.

It can't be... what am I going to do?! ~ Panic coursed through her veins and she felt herself reeling backward, and the blood drain from her face. Behind her, she could hear the whispers and a few snickers, but the four words echoed on, threatening to burst her eardrums.

IT DOES NOT LIVE... DOES NOT LIVE... NOT LIVE... LIVE...

There was only one way to preserve her life and sanity.

She turned and sprinted, never turning back once.

For Mystral

As you flee, you glance backwards and see the woman begin walking towards you, her face a hideous labyrinth of boils and lesions, scars and pock marks, the rotting is no longer visible, nor are the maggots. She begins picking up speed and before you know it she is nearly flying, so fast is her persuit, people on the streets don't seem to see her, but avoid getting in her path, almost reflexively, you knock down several celebrants in your headlong flight, and manage to duck down a sidestreet that you know will take you to a populated area, hoping that the creature will not follow you into a crowd.

Unfortunately you never make it.

As you round the corner you slip on a patch of ice, twisting your ankle, a tall man, with a slender build is walking towards you, when he sees you limping he jogs forward to help you up.

For Bakilas

A young woman, in her early twenties, walks up to you, suppressing a giggle, she asks if you'd like to go somewhere "more private". She is dressed in a short party dress, red with white fur trim, that barely manages to conceal her rather ample "assets", obviously a very expensive article of clothing.

The Bar

After the two vampires left a custodian came by and cleaned up the mess, and normal conversation resumed. Outside the night air was fresh and cold, not that it hampered the pair of bloodsuckers at all, but it was refreshing, and knowledge of the new year only an hour or so away renewed their spirits for a time as they talked in the night air.

A watchfull passerby might notice that when the two talked the air coming from them was not in puffy clouds, like the breath of the "normals", but luckily there was no one around who noticed, or cared about such things.
