ROFL. Lary, I never even lurked the mage battle thread, after, er, someone posted that he was gonna join. I mean, I'd had all I wanted of him at that time, so I just ignored it.

He did anyway.... You're wearing a pink armor bikini and my personal slave.... ;)

Well, it's just a computer generated MODel, not the real thing.

I'm gonna ask Mistral to give Raymond back to Eliza. That'd be a suitable punishment.

Only saw this thread today :D

Galadria - It might not work :( , cos this modding mage might edit my posts But then again, he definitely would not be a bumbling ranger anymore

Back to the topic... I think Larry has summarised the points very nicely I can only say that I really admire the patience of those caught in such boring and pointless fights where powerplayers just can't loosen up ;)

LOL @ Mistral. But, just think of the possibilities. Eliza sulking and pouting at Raymond, who'd be falling all over his feet. :D

Read, understood, agreed.

Now then....on an only slightly related topic...

My Budha has just pointed out that the Modding Mage just happens to live in the US, a record-breaking ice storm just happened to have hit the same area in which a certain feline named Rastus and ranger named Garnet just happen to live when not adventuring the world wide *AND* the said feline just happened to have attacked the Mod Mage's faculties immediately prior to said ice storm. Was this some sort of ultra frost spell gone dangerously awry or a mere coincidence? Hmmmmm.........

Congradulations by the way...as I forgot to mention that you are my number one, most dangerous and hated enemy, and will be the first to die when I gain total control...

Ha! Not while I'm alive, you old MODel maker, you.

Thanks, Larry.

And a comment to elaborate on 250's 'the goal is playing, not winning'...

Guys (and girls ;) )...Don't be afraid to let your character get hurt or to show weakness. Allow your character to have to sit out a few rounds to recover or even get wounded enough to not continue. It's actually MORE fun that way.

And never forget the comedy value of a little self-depreciation! Why, in my day, I - AGH! (falls over own sword, skids on loose gravel, trips over cliff) OWCH! Owch! owch! owch... (splooooosh!)
