I got a better way of getting top scores, WITHOUT cheating. If you're a class which doesn't need strength 9 or 12 or whatever, simply wait for a roll of 93 (not hard), then give yourself 3 strength, and all the rest 18. Then, once you get out of Irenicus' dungeon, simply buy the girdle of hill giant strength. Voila, 19 Strength, everything else 18

Not an easy tactic when you are soloing, Jon Irenicus' Dungeon will be a bitch to do and the beginning of Chapter 1-2 until you gain enough money. Assuming that you are a solo Warrior that is. |

While we're on that subject, 18/00 is the highest, right? I mean, it's better than 18/86? My stepson and fellow party member asked me that question, and I said that probably it means that you have (say) an 86% chance of getting a hit if the roll was 18=miss,19=hit. If you follow me. But now I'm not so sure. Comments?

yes 18/00 is the highest you can get normally (1/2 orcs can get up to 19 i believe) it gives you a bonus to your chance to hit an opponent, ie 18/86 gives a bonus of +2 to the attack roll (a random # between 1 and 20 the computer "rolls" to determine if you hit or not) and +4 to the damage you do when you hit. an 18/00 gives +3 to hit, and +6 to damage |
