Yes the XP are divided evenly between the characters.

hitting a gobbo with a thaco of -8 should be pretty easy. however, remember that not every graphical swing is an attack. the characters swing swords etc to make the combat look more exciting, you can see the actual attack in the text-windows if you go into feedback and turn on the option to show dice rolls.

if your actualy taking 4/5 attacks to hit a gobbo then somethings wrong.

OK. Thank you very much. That explains why my carysomr +5 is swing through the air 4 times but only hitting once
