It's a pity because I like what I see - the interface is *very* good & well-thought out, and it looks like there's a lot of depth in the game. But the on-screen movement of the party made me nauseous.

Err, any help on this?? :(

Oh man, TELL ME about it. This didn't happen to me on my P3 500Mhz, but I now have a new 2.4Ghz rig with that Geforce4 4600, and 3 games so far have made me VERY ill feeling--I gotta go lay down. It's silly!!

I got sick in W8, Die Hard: Nakatomi Plaza, and Quake3.. It SUCKS! I notice when I slow down, and move my mouse in a circular fashon and that is when it REALLY kicks in. I guess it's because of the high frame rate? I never had this problem before.. Grr. Guess I better under-clock my system

yes.. unfortunately for some this is the case.
seems that peoples brains have problems with the nice textures and smooth scrolling thats possible with todays high end systems.

in the old days graphics were unrealistic and jerky. the brain could tell that they wernt 'real'

i suggest to try to limit as much as possible movement using the mouse, keep your view centered look away from the monitor regularly, like during combat, oh... and go into the wiz8 options and change smooth panning to none or snap. that will alleviate problems during combat.

Does this option apply to the automatic scrolling in combat only or anywhere in the game? My main problem seems to be whenever the view scrolls by itself (e.g. when it focusses on a new oponent in combat) or when it's moving in more than one direction (if you run into an obstacle and your movement is diverted from straight ahead to diagonal).
