Um... slight correction. I always collect my fee. So, I'll be one of the few in hell with $200 in my pocket.

But don't get too upset about this guys...I mean...my wife's ruling is not being mandated on any of you...

By the way, I've been able to see it now. Don't ask how. I really did like it. Was it better than the first? Maybe. It was definately one of those that need to be seen in the theater. My little 13" TV screen would not have done it justice. I'd recommend it to anyone that wants some great action at this first part of the year.

I remember that church groups were renting entire movie theaters in the Metroplex and buying group-discount tickets. Oh, well...

Upset? No. Curious? Yes. Note, though, that I am not saying your wife's decision is wrong, merely iconoclastic.

That's my sentiment too. The first had a good balance of story, exposition and fighting. The second one is more fighting and less of the rest, but it's good too. I'm not sure which one I liked best. It's like chosing which of your two favorite pie you like the best.

Hey Larry, you could always wait until your in the dog house with her for a different reason, then go see the movie, its the double transgression theory.

I think I need to stay away from you.

You make too much sense for my own good.

I have to say I did not enjoy the 2nd Underworld as much as the 1st. The first half hour was confusing with some irrelevant links to the first movie, and an historic battle that almost did not make sense having it there, it would have made more sense to have a scene with the creating of the crypt and the entombment of the brother as opposed to the bloody battle. After the first half hour the story seemed to start to have direction and make more sense as to what the story was about mainly the keys and opening his brothers crypt. The sex scenes served absolutely no purpose and I felt the director was just trying to get some scenes with his wife with another man to fulfill some sick fantasy that he could wack off too later, I am sure he watches this part of his movie over and over. Which makes sense that the first half hour or so of the movie did not appear to have direction as the directors mind was elsewhere. The Vampire whores would have been enough for eye candy. Wasn't a bad movie but could have been better story wise especially the first half hour or so, action was good throughout.

I liked it okay. I must say the sex scene with Kate is waaaaaay overdue. She should do 5 of these scenes per movie, IMO.
